I am about to order a 510 kit that comes with 5 blank carts, 2 atomizers, 2 batts and a charger. I was also going to purchase 2 15ml PG liquid. Is there anything else I may need? Are syringes a must or convieneance for loading the liquid?

You might want to get a PCC if you will be away from home much because the 510 batteries don't last long. Make sure you get plenty of e-liquid too. Not fun to be with out. 
Edit: Also you don't need a syringe for the 510 to refill it. It's plenty easy to just drop it straight from the bottle.

IMO, syringes are not necessary for the 510. When filling a cart with dry/new stuffing, I remove the stuffing, put about 5 drops in the cart, add the stuffing and top with a few more drops.
Does anyone think starting with 3 atomizers and 3 batterys an absolute must or no not really?
I have tons of syringes around (work in a hospital, not a junkie!) and don't use them at all for filling. They are handy for mixing DIY liquids, though. Chester is right on about how to fill your carts, and get ready to get more liquid even if just to try new flavors!
If you don't have a PCC I would recommend another battery. I have 4 on me at all times. If i'm constantly vaping the batteries only last me about an hour. Attys can last anywhere from 1 week to a few months. It just depends. So an extra atty is good too if you can afford it.
If your going to be vaping in the house I would recommend a passthrough thats all I use. I have only used my battery about 10min. total and you can get an adapter for your car if you want to vape in it too.
Extra atomizers are good to have around and you'll always use them eventually. Rather than another battery, I'd get a passthrough like Scardstud advises if you're going to be 'stationary' a lot - computer, chair, car OR a mega battery or two, if you're going to be on the go.
Always good to have 2 levels of nicotine. If what you have isn't enough, you'll be reaching for the cigs. If what you have is too much, you'll be reaching for the cigs ;-) And you can vape low and top off high if you feel the 'urge'.
All that said, if you think that there's a mod in your future, don't start stocking up on hardware so much (except attys). With the mods I have, I still use mega batts for 'walk around' sometimes. Almost never regular batts.
in my experience, the easiest way to refill is to use the plastic toothpick method displayed in one of the stickied threads of this forum.
just place the toothpick between the filling and the wall of the cart and drip the liquid doen the shaft. it gets it under the filling without having to wait for the air pockets to work themselves out.

PCC (Personal Charging Case)

I recommend more, but I do not recommend less, as you have to order online and wait.
I do recommend you order 5-10 10ml bottles of flavors you like, after you find out if you are at 6,12,18,24,36 mg of nic. You will find out based on your cravings.

I have heard people having various problems with the 510 passthrough. The PCC is probally in the near future. I am debating on ordering either just a kit with 2 batts and 2 attys, a charger and 5 blanks, along with 5 extra blanks or the kit 5 extra blanks and an extra batt and att. I am also considering my 3rd batt to be the long life batt. As for liquid I am pretty sold on a particular brand already and the smallest they sell is 15ml and they have limited flavors. I think I will just buy two different flavors of 15ml. I am almost positive 11mg is perfect for me.
