I love my Aspire Nautilus minis and use them every day. Sometimes I feel I need a bit more airflow hence the purchase of the Cubis tank which offered great airflow and coils MTL, but the coils are just not the greatest and very finicky. Still like the tank though. Today I went to a shop and picked up the Kangertech Top tank Nano...BINGO! Got the airflow I want (even though I have it pretty low) and rocking a 1.2 SS coil with awesome flavor. I've looked and see there are options for a 1.5 coil even. Finally, the best of both worlds!

I was toying with a Kanger Subtank Nano….but this looks more current…and an improvement….I like the fact that it will still still take the square-shaped Kanger OCC coils although they say it reduces the capacity of the tank…could this be true?

Also, does your mod need TC to use SS Coils?

Oh, and another plus is that I have all I need for sub-ohming should I ever decide to, though I'm content being a tootle puffer. :)

If you wanna try some very enjoyable sub ohm (barely) vaping, without investing much into it, check out the Herakles, (the original, ~$14-$16, adjustable airflow), or the iJust2 tank, (~$13, larger 5.5ml capacity, wide open airflow), with a Vaporesso ccell 0.9 ohm coil, (~$15 for a 5 pack), installed. Either tank and 5 ccells probably cost less than what you paid for the Toptank. ;)

I don't like Kanger anything, anymore. Their tanks leak, their coils dry hit, and their mods are meh, (with outdated chips), at best.

Ymmv.

All Kanger OCC coils are compatible with both Subtanks and Toptanks. SS coils can be used in either TC mode or power, (wattage), mode, so your mod doesn't need to have TC.

However, I'd recommend you buy a different tank and coil system. Kanger's nothing special, (and kind of overpriced).
