Finally broke down and got a gear box

So after weeks of using a ziplock bag for a gear holder i finally broke down and went to wal mart for one of those medicine cases that someone mentioned a while ago. So here it is. My new gear box.

Very nice. I have an ego case myself - used to fit a mod, couple of ego size X2s, a spare batt and juice. But yours is - woot!

I'm half kidding. I have a pair of those for my wife and I. They make great travel cases, but there's no way they'll hold all of our stuff.

It might be a while till i need one. Im only using this box for the atty rebuilding gear and the juices i vape daily so there is plenty of room right now. It actually just occurred to me that this would be a great travel case

Those things work great until the years start taking a toll, but at 10 bucks, it's not really an issue, TBH. I used to have a Vaultz CD wallet and the lock went to .... and I had to crack it open with a hammer and chisel.

One of ours is decked out with rebuild and maintenance stuff, the other is reserved for juice and the mods / backup ego batteries.

In my rebuild kit, I used a couple of tabs of self-adhesive Velcro to hold down an Altoids tin and my resistance meter, and also used it to secure a lighter for the kanthal. It holds almost too well; any time I try to remove the meter it pulls off the battery door

I love mine. Got that thing crammed full of attys, liquids, kanthal, cotton, tool, and other odd and ends. I pack that thing to work with me and I get to show folks a side of e-cigs they never knew existed.
I work at a gas station that sells all those wonderful cigalikes, and we sell a .... ton of em. So it's nice to be able to carry around my own .... ton of vaping goodies so I can show folks what's beyond the cigalike.

I used one of those for about a month, until I outgrew it. It kicks ... and holds mods pretty damned well. I now have a vape bag
