OH! One last thing! Haha if you DO in fact decide to go the Zmax route, I would visit health cabin.net They have some sweet deals on vape gear. Now, keep in mind, they are coming from China, so be sure to order your batteries elsewhere. Shipping is also a little on the pricey side but with the money you are saving on the mod itself, you can't beat it. I'll post some links for ya here in a second. The final think I will say is that I live in Sweden and I got my package in 4 business days with the DHL shipping option. SUPER FAST. With you being in the UK, you should get it even quicker (so they say.) And on top of that, they marked it as "metal tube" so I doesn't throw up any potential flags at customs! Again, I hope this helps. Here are some links. Good luck. :)

I agree with the Zmax being great. It was my first APV.
That said... I had the Provari itch and it did not go away. Within a month of getting my Zmax I bit the bullet and bought my first Provari and never looked back.
In retrospect, I wish I had saved a little more and started with the Provari.
Nothing is wrong with my Zmax at all. I did/do really like it but knowing that I would eventually get something else made me unsatisfied until I got it.

Just my $.02

Happy vaping :)

The Provari is top dog for VV, no doubt about that. On the other hand I like VV/VW, which Provari isn't. I like the convenience and versatility of a telescopic tube mod which Provari doesn't offer. Sigelei offers both of those advantages with a durable mod that is priced much less.

Once you have reached a level of performance and quality that the Sigelei Zmax has reached you have also reached the point of diminishing returns. You have to pay increasingly more dollars for increasingly less in improvement. A Provari isn't going to vape three or four times better than a Sigelei Zmax.

Provaris are expensive because they are desirable. They are desirable because they are expensive.

I have the SVD, Vamo V2 and a Smoktech SID. All three have been very good devices for me but the one I use the most is the SID.

I think SID and SVD are a better quality than the Vamo and I like the look of the SVD best of all plus it can use IMR18350, IMR18490 or IMR18650 but the SID is lighter to carry around and the shortest of the three when in the IMR18650 mode.

I completely agree. As I mentioned earlier, the Provari was my most desired unit however, I simply did not want to spend that kind of money. When you posted this message I thought about it and realised that I had watched loads of reviews about AVP devices, especially the ones in my first post, and that I knew just about every good and bad point about these devices, but that I had never actually read a single review or watched any videos regarding the Provari so how could it possibly be the one that I would buy If I wanted to spend that much money? The inclusion of the Provari into my want list is obviously just down to the fact that everybody thinks that they are the best and that word of mouth simply made me desire it more. I do not really even like the look of the Provari which is crazy really as I would of happily purchased something that I did not like the look of simply because it would feel nice to own something that "everybody" knew was the best you could get. I'm sure the Provari is great, however how much better could it possibly be and is it worth the extra money that you could instead invest into a great tank. Also is it worth buying something that I don't like the design of because of how much better it operates? Thank you for your post, I did not even realise I had been sucked into the hype.

1. Vamo V3. It's just too large, has three buttons (two too many) arranged in a way that looks like a silly face. Cheap build quality.

2. Innokin iTaste SVD. It's nice. My issue is the styling which is a little on the gaudy side for me. It has too many buttons, too.

3. Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic Flat Top. My choice for the best VV/VW ever. Mine has been in daily use for nearly eight months. I just bought a second V3 Telescopic this week to have a back-up unit. Best build quality. Uses 18350, 2x18350, 18490, 18500 and 18650 IMR batteries, bright OLED display, single button menu. Heavily built and short for battery size.

4. Sigelei Zmax V5 Telescopic Flat Top. This ties the Sigelei above for first place. V5 Adds two extras: a cell phone charger accessory and a puff counter. Otherwise, identical to the V3 model.

Agree. I own the:
Vamo V2 and V3, MVP 2 and the Sigelei Zmax V3. My fave is the Sigelei Zmax V3 because of the quality and battery options.

Most of the owners I have spoken to who own most of the top devices have preferred the sigelei over them all, even over the Provari so I ended up ordering the Sigelei V5 in stainless steel and a Protank 3. I'm hoping this combination leads to a great vaping experience to the Vivi Nova / Ego c Twist that I am used too.

The highly regarded PBusardo gave the Sigelei Zmax V3 a strong thumbs up- a rarity. Just be absolutely sure to buy quality batts and charger.

I actually prefer one button regulated devices. The main thing I do with my mods is to vape. Sure having the extra buttons for adjustment are nice to use, but when I take a vape I like having only one button to chose from while vaping. Once I have my voltage/wattage set for my atomizer I don't use the menu. So pushing the same button multiple times to change the selection is no big issue.
