I've noticed I'm having trouble getting consistent hits of vapor without having to take dry pulls after every 1 or 2 real pulls. I'm not having dry hits or burnt taste because I don't let the atty's get that dry. Once the vapor drops, I reprime with the dry pulls. This brings the vapor back. I have several atty's and they all seems to perform about the same. All of the wicks are in the same position now, except I adjusted one lower than the rest. The wicks appear to be in the "sweet spot" according to Vicki's Video. I realize this is probably were most of them work correctly and they might need to be lowered. But I'd like to get some opinions on what I should try next. What is the lowest point you can push these wicks down before they either push out the bottom of the piercing tube or make these things start to leak? For those who have watched Vicki's video, have you tried making a hole with a needle on the edge of the "hat"? thanks guys

p.s. So far I haven't had any leaking issues. So what do you guys and gals think I should try next? Lower the wick a tad or make a hole on the edge of the hat or maybe something totally different. thanks again.

I lowered the wick on several of them and tried boring a hole in a couple. I gave up on boring the hole, one of them leaked a little so I had perform surgery with a needle to reform the hat back to normal and it didn't help, so that's not working for me. I'll try lowering the wick on the one that's working the best.
It seems it's working better than my other atty's, but i've lowered the wick on it a couple times, just a little bit each time. I just didn't want it to be too low and leak. It's now a little lower than the lower part of the slant in the needle. I'm kinda nervous to pull it up if I push it down too far. Who's out there has successfully pulled the wick back up. I think needle nose tweezers would work the best and I do have some if I need them.

Taking a cue from another post about holding the switch for 1-2 secs that I can't find again, I've arrived at the following:

1. Clean the atty via one the various methods listed elsewhere here
2. Screw atty back on and make it's seated good
3. Insert tank, and, I've discovered it definitely does *NOT* needed to ble clocked (aligned with the flat sides of the atty below
4. Hold the switch and drag to get it primed (may take a couple of times)
5. Hold he switch on for 1-2 secs until you hear a "pop" or "gurgling" (I think it's the atty burning off the excess juice) The pop/gurgle is what I hadn't seen mentioned before
6. While continuing to hold the button, draw.

If you do 5 & 6 every time you draw, you should have great success. I've gone through several tank loads and never failed to get a nice clean draw.

Hope this helps

Nice info g3p, thanks!

I have no idea where I'm at
I see that I am not the only one paying attention. I have experienced all the same things, but I also smoke it more like a pipe, I take a couple of short puffs and at about the third one, I take a draw, suck in some air, and then take a second draw. It take about the complete light duration (starts flashing) and continue with my finger off the switch, this pulls out all of the remaining vapor and kind of primes for the next hit. I have been using the same tanks for over a month now and no problems. They all have the chad taken off, and pull the bottom off to refill, although lately I am using a syringe more but not always.

Pull too hard and there is sometimes a bit of liquid in the atty, but it has never leaked outside the atty.
