i just got my rsst a few weeks ago and been experimenting with it quite a bit. I ordered 400, 500 ss mesh, 28, 30, and 32 guage kanthal wire. Ive been trying every combination i can make and finally found one that is extremely easy to make and gives me an amazing amount of vapor and flavor with decent amount of throat hit. here it is in all it's glory :vapor:

it's an 8 wrap 2 ohm coil with 28 guage wire around tightly wound 500 mesh wick. 28 guage wire is so easy to work with that i was able to just wound it around the wick without any shorts or hot legs. it was easy once i took out the positive post and then screw it back on when the coil is done. i can get a nice vape with it anywhere from 7-13w without any burning taste. I usually vape it around 10 or 11w. Only downside is there is a slight warm up time if im around 7-8w but it warms up fast if im vaping around 10w. I've put 3 tanks through this coil and it still works like a champ.

i tried a lot of different setups before i found this one. i went as low as 1.2ohms(lowest my vamo would go) up to 3ohms with both 28 and 30g. For some reason i couldnt make any coils out of 32g, they would just short really bad to the point where the coil would break or too lose and i would get a nasty buring taste. 30g worked well around 1.5-2ohms but was still a bit finicky and would short or loosen up after half a tank then needed to be adjusted again.

I have both the aga-t2 and rsst and i def. like the rsst more with it's large insulate wick hole and height adjustable positive pin really makes it easy to work with. I wouldnt have been able to fit 8 coils of 28g around my aga-t2.

Since I have been reading this forum...... it is amazing how all the techie talk really turns me on. bahahahaha Just kidding. I don't know anything about it (yet), but I hope one day I can post a pic like that. In fact, I might just save the image so I can. Why don't you do a YouTube video.... I love watching those too. Thanks for sharing. Good job. You should be proud.
