It depends on the Amp output of the usb adapter. I doubt they will work at all with less then 1A, 2A is recommended.

Just got mine, though I wish manual was available it still works great on a 1 amp usb cig adapter. It eats some juice though! In a good way.

It may eat juice, but I think it also doubles the flavor
