Hi guys , my riva 510 arrived this morning and it's on charge as we speak . I'm following the instructions and giving it a 8 hour charge . But what I want to know is if you guys fill the cartridges or drip straight on to the atomiser . And if you do that later then does this reduce the atomisers life span ? I've got 15 blank cartridges and A drip tip so I can easily drip onto the atomiser. Also how do you clean your atomisers ?

Atomizers can be cleaned between juices by just blowing them out while holding a tissue/paper towel on the end of it...when dripping a different flavored juice, you might have to take a couple of draws before the new juice flavor comes through. Other than that, when you notice that your atty isn't performing well anymore, it may be because there is a build-up on the coils. To remedy this, you can do a 5 minute soak in vodka (everclear) and then blow out the excess followed by a quick dry-burn until you see the coil turn red. You could also try http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/170725-ultrasonic-cleaning-atomizers-very-best-way.html

Gooner, yes you can drip directly onto an atomiser using a drip tip. Only a few drops at a time though, otherwise you will flood the attie. Even when using a cartridge, it's still a good idea to drip a couple of drops onto the attie as well.

No need to charge the batteries for 8 hours - they have no memory. So you can try one of them straight away while the other is on charge :)

...yep, all of that...soon as you can, get some low resistance cartomizers (less than 2.5ohms)...they sure make things simpler than having to constantly have to drip...like when driving!!!!!!

Thanks guys , just tried dripping a bit onto the atty , its seems really harsh and made me cough like a gooden lol ! Is that normal or did I do summit wrong ??

Did you blow out your atty first? there is a yucky primer fluid when you first get them so it's a good idea to not inhale the first few puffs until it tastes good. Also if this is your first vape ever you'll realize that you have to take long slow drags instead of quick ones. It may be that your juice is really high nic so it has a strong throat hit also that is causing the coughing. Just experiment and try puffing a few different ways and you'll get the hang of it!

Also are you using a drip tip on the atty? If you are sucking directly on the atty it would be a bit too strong and kind of yucky. If you do't have a drip tip you can pull the stuffing out of a cart and use that until you get one.

I use my ego-t while out and about but direct dripping really is the best way to go when I'm feeling like I'm just not getting enough - or in the evenings when I'm content and sitting on the couch watching tv and just want to enjoy vaping. So far my little addy has lasted a month and a half - I just debridged it a few days ago (not sure it really changed anything).

I have the same Riva and I loved it!

To drip I suggest you to not put more than 3 drops in the atty, otherwise you will have to blow the juice out the atty once it will be flooded.

I will also suggest you to use a non metalic drip tip while you using atty for dripping, because the atty heats alot (its expected).

To clean the atty I just use a paper towel at the "screw" and give it a shake, or use a drip tip in the mouth end and blow. This way you will still have some juice in the atty, but just enough for about 3 or 4 puffs.

Happy vaping.
