DFual Coil Kayfun.jpgNo Drip Kayfun.jpg

Parallel 28G Kanthal 6 coils each. You should end up around 2 ohms. I set it for 12 watts. Remove drip tip and air screw.

Doesn't seem right, does it? Dual 6-wrap 28ga. coils should get you around .6-.8 Ohms IMO.....

Parallel was not the best choice in words spewny is correct its one coil bent in half. Causes more coil\wick to be positioned directly over the
kayfun air hole is all. Next time I build this going to drop 2 wraps from it.

removing air screw never seemed like a good idea IMO. it then makes it not possible to cover the airhole with your finger and do primer pulls for help wicking. and are you vaping that with no drip tip im assuming? hmm. never thought of doing that but cant see myself liking it

Properly built a Kayfun never needs Primer puffs. At least my 7 don't.:)
As for suggestion #2 - I use all wide bore short tips anyway so no gain.

Properly built being the key word here...and not just the coil/wick portion either

Love my Kayfuns and they all "hit" very nicely..however, occasionaly they might need a primer (almost all 9 of them :) ) - could be the channels are a little bit narrow, hair bit too much cotton, wick may be gunked up bit (especially with darker eliquids), seals need to be tightened..or..just not the best build on my part.. never a problem and I normally don't have to cover the airhole ..which I always remove the screw...

Agreed on number 2 as I use wide bores for everything now - drippers and tanks..

but what is the deal as I see more and more people using RDA's with no drip tip and they say te vapor and flavor is better ?? scares the crap out of me ..LOl
