Finally ordered SB

So I have been enjoying my BB for about 6 months. However I always wanted the BSB for the larger battery but at the time the size was the determining factor. On average I use about 2 14500's a day sometimes I briefly tap a 3rd if I'm up a long time.

So I think the SB should satisfy me as an all day on one battery mod. Used trustfire protected 14500's 900mah. And have trustfire 18650's 2400 mah. The batteries with the ironic flames on them.

I think I had the BSB in my cart and partially through the checkout process at least 8 times over the past 6 months and backed out.

Well finally broke down and will have the SB finally. So here I am on mailbox watch. I went overboard initially and have an absurd amount of juice, atties, and carts. So this is the only thing I have ordered in 6 months and will probably be the last for at least a year. Once I get it I go back on cruise control for vaping.

That's great I ordered an omega and can't wait. I've been vaping on an Ace and magnum for about 6 months so it's time to upgrade. So congrats on your new MOD.

You'll love it. I have all three (BB,BSB and Omega) and all are top notch. The 18650 batts last me about 16hrs, or the whole day that I'm awake before I charge them.

Well I received it Friday and it truly is a large hunk of aluminum in person. Kind of like carrying a personal defense baton around. The button is flat opposed to the BB which i was used to so it will take me a bit to get used to the flat recessed design. Fit and finish were top notch. I wiped down the threads and went ahead and reapplied noalox before using. I am pretty sure they do this but I like knowing for sure.

Popped a freshly charged 18650 in the device and took my first vape. I was a bit surprised that the unit actually hit harder than my BB at 3.7 volts. Which makes me wonder if my 14500's for my BB are weaker in general or have weakened over time. Using my same blessed atty that has been in use for over 3 months. I use the longer 510 mega atties. Truly enjoying the harder hitting BSB; just not sure why it is any different than my BB. Perhaps I need to test the voltages on both to see what is what.

Question what is the hole inside the upper portion? Is that a safety vent? My BB doesn't have a hole inside there.

The BB you have has a flat on the bushing for gases to pass, the whole is just the way we do it now. The BB has a hole as well now, you just have an older BB.

I'm sure these will be worth more when they become collectibles
