Pillbox had liquid tested! Real information, no speculation. Congrats, Pillbox.

Excellent. I think I found my new permanent liquid supplier.

I find it worth noting that they mention glycerol as a safer alternative. It would be interesting to see the result if they tested ATOMERIZED glycerol solution with Gas Chromatography. That would be a definitive answer to this acrolein question.

I also would like an answer on the dihydrocumarin... added? byproduct? hmm.

For those that missed them, the test results done by Pony for Ruyan are very promising:

Pony Testing identifies themselves as:

As a large comprehensive testing organization which runs on the basis of ISO/IEC 17925, the report provided by PONY TEST obtain international approval and international notarization & credit. Up to now, we have set up 4 large laboratories in China, 6 branches and 21 offices in UK, HK etc., formed an international testing network. In 2007, it honored "Deloitte Technology Fast 50 China" and "Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific". See www[dot]ponytest[dot]com/about-en[dot]html

Here are the four new reported test results performed for Ryan by Pony and they are very encouraging. Note. Click on the photo after opening to enlarge the photo. Maybe some good news for a change–--Sun

If this report has been around since 2008, then where does the FDA get off telling us no testing has been done yet?

Or is the FDA expecting us to subject a group of test subjects to it for a few generations before letting it pass?

The manufacturers or resellers need to present the studies for get approval to the FDA.

I saw this report about 2 months ago when I first found out about ecigs and started reading. I'm no chemist but I was able to garner enough to see from a purely scientific standpoint that it is indeed safer than smoked tobacco, however I would be more interested even to see a report from those that want to shut ecigs down. I'm sure we will see a few.

Is it just me, or is this a specific claim of being an NRT?

Sentences like this seem to be the singular bullwhip that unleashes the hounds of the FDA... perhaps TW would like to resubmit/update/amend that part of the report if possible?

it's not their report to ammend.. the report is from a testing laboratory.. and that's the people who are legally allowed to make that claim as an opinion derived from their testing..

basically.. they tested it.. so they can vouch.. not guess
