I've been eyeing this atty since the original was released

Me too.I ordered one of the v1's when they were still on pre order, figured for $20 i would give it a shot.Been loving this thing from the start,i ended up getting a 2nd one a week after.I want to get the v2,but haven't made it that far yet, should be a definite improvement though.

Looks good, did you have to modify anything to make that tank fit?Reason i ask is because i am assuming that is about the same size as the full size quartz kit,and i had to have the glass cut down to make that fit,so just curious.Oh also what mod is that?Looks very cool.

Thanks :)

No modification needed. Just the small clear section, nano ring and a normal sized ring with the same top cap as you I think.

The mod is the FM mod (a clone of it), I really like it, want another to be honest. It has 'beauty' rings to match it with your atomizer (brass, ss, copper). Yes, big pimpin' etc.

Got mine from Focalecig: $26.10 FM Style Mechanical Copper Mod -

They have it on Fasttech too, but I am not sure if it is the same manufacturer as my clone.

Only problem with it is the venting, or lack of it. I did drill a couple holes on the other side towards the top, better safe...

Which one did you happen to order?

BTW, I've been eyeing this atty since the original was released, I finally have a V2 on the way!!
I did not order it. Just found the box looks like it is a v2. The local shop here in richmond ky where I'm working had them in stock. Been debating this or the lemo for awhile and just happened to be right place right time

Just ordered the V3, looks amazing, with poly tank, can't wait to get it in.

Was stoked for mine too, but then it came today.... Guess these might be hit or miss. I've tried several builds with 28g different wraps n sizes 2mm-3mm n all in between. 4 hours later and alot of wasted juice. Its built at .7 using 2.4mm 8/9 wraps og cotton n its still a little leaky .

I just received my Orchid v1 today and I must say after my 3rd wicking attempt I got it right. I put a 28 awg, 2.0 mm, 7 wrap build in it and it is awesome. It comes in at .6 ohms. This is the same as the build in my Fogger. I must say it is significantly better than my Fogger 4. More flavor, more vapor. Don't get me wrong my Fogger isn't going in the junk pile it's still in daily use as I switch flavors often. But my opinion is if you're looking for a new atty this is the way to go. Simple build, big deck to do it on and once you figure the wicking out, awesome!!!

Question for you V2 owners - on my build, duals at about .7 ohm, wicked with KGD with tiny tails down into the juice channels, I'm only getting bubbles after a good pull from one or two channels. Now, the flavor and vapor are wonderful, don't get me wrong. But I'm curious if you guys who have done more builds on this thing are getting bubbles out of all 4 channels routinely? If I pull extra hard, the juice level goes down accordingly so I know that vacuum is doing its job but was just curious. Thanks!

I'm convinced. . . I'm not going to say that again..... But i am. :)

Haha, that's great, dont know how i missed this yesterday haha.

As for your question Todd,i never pay much attention, but i think mine does the same, mainly bubbles from just 1 channel on each side.Mine is the v1,but same setup other than the fill screw.

I have noticed this too, I don't think I have seen 4 separate sets of bubbles at all with mine. I even took a few toots without pressing the firing button to see if I could get all four producing bubbles...Big mistake!
Currently running a 0.4ohm build, still not seeing copious bubbles, but still wicking perfectly. All my builds when checked have looked fine (I mean the wicks), no sign that either side is not getting enough juice on either coil.

Picture is current build, just changed one of the wicks. The other side is after about 3 or 4 tanks.

I just dropped my drilled out fogger to 0.35ohm and I'm willing to bet it kicks any orchids azzs now. It'd definitely airyer and when I get around to trimming my afc ring so I can get like 10% more restriction I think the flavor will be better, along with the huge clouds. ...and of course the capacity you all wish for.

I have a fogger v4.4 and I tried to drill it out but I probably did it wrong. It was good before, bad after. Orchid is exactly what i wanted the fogger to be after drilling. So anyway, it's good to hear you have a setup you like. Unless you get commissions on selling foggers, please stay in that thread.

Also, I just want to say that anyone reading this that only has a Spinner 2 or similar and wants to get into rebuilding on an RDA or RBA like the Orchid... You don't need a Mech Mod or high wattage box mod right away. I have a 28 gauge single coil wicked with rayon at 2.2 ohms and the Spinner 2 is doing just fine set to 4.3 volts. Lots of flavor and vapor using 55/45 vg/pg.

I see a lot of people reply to someone who is just starting out that they need a more powerful mod to enjoy an RBA. Not always the case in my experience.
