I got the 901 from MVS with the empty Dura carts from Dietsmokes. Both highly recommended by the way. I had both packages by Wed. and I had ordered around 1 a.m. Monday.
Cut a batch of 24mg menthol from MVS with VG since no one actually had PG here without ordering it and I picked up the VG at a health food store. 100% pure/USP food grade.
Aside from my filling disaster which is in another post here are my impressions half-way through my first 24 hours. Vapor was decent at first but really not much vapor at all on the exhale. I knew that it takes a bit for the atomizer to get broken in so I didn't worry about that. Sure enough after a couple hours of just vaping here and there....("Hey, that's pretty cool....let's try that again!" I was busy so it's not like I was vaping non-stop, just picking it up here and there.) The vapor on exhale showed up...really cool. Not impressed with the taste, whether that's because I cut the menthol with VG which has it's own sweetness or if that's just the taste of MVS's menthol, I don't know. Minimal throat hit, which could be better, again, probably due to my recipe. Absolutely no odor to the vapor which is awesome, I was out shopping with a friend last night. I DO NOT smoke in my car and she kept saying "blow that in my face, I want to see if I can smell it". She's a non-smoker and couldn't detect any odor at all. I really wanted to take it into Applebee's but I figured I shouldn't push my luck. I kept waiting for a policeman to pull me over to see what I was smoking with my blue LED....
I did/do have a touch of sore throat and I DID get a rash a few places on my arms where I think I scratched or rubbed during the filling disaster so be careful with the nic juice. No other side effects at this point. I have smoked a few analogs during this time but primarily because I'm not getting that menthol kick that I like. I've always smoked menthol and I'll go without smoking before I'll smoke non-menthol....So, I'm gonna neb around here and see if there's anywhere locally I can pick up some menthol crystals to add.
For me myself, I'm figuring at 2ml a day, supplies should run me around 30.00 a month as long as I don't fall into the shopping for new e-cig toys trap....
I bought the 901 kit, 10 blank Dura carts and 2 spare atomizers, and cut, I have 60ml of juice so hopefully, I'm good to go for awhile.
So, if you're sitting on the fence, jump on it, it's pretty amazing actually.
