Thanks for all the info guys. I trashed the AGI ribbon setup and set it to the side to attempt a micro coil and cotton build tonight. I did manage to get my RSST working quite well. It meters way lower than i was expecting so i think i may try again with a few more wraps. Its 28awg kanthal 4 wraps on SS mesh. Seems to fire nicely and i have yet to have a dry or hot spot-esque hit.

I think that the AGi is my biggest problem with mesh. The RSST works much better and seems to have next to no problems. I just was always more fond of the look of the AGI on my mods so i never built much on the RSST. Good to know others have had issues with the AGI as well. Maybe ill take it back to being a drip setup....

Now its day 2 with a genny and im quite a bit happier!

I watched that auto dripper vid by rip trippers you mentioned. I think it is a very good video but I haven't tried a wick that loose in the coil. I have excellent success with cotton wick somewhat firmly pulled inside 3/32" coil. I don't have success with limp wick in coil. If wick is too tight it will choke. It is very important that wick is very loose in deck hole. I prefer wick to tank bottom but I think the auto dripper length will work too.

I think that the thickenss may have been my main issue. I had trouble with the cotton actually slipping through the coil and almost falling into the tank so i made a thicker wick, then i ran into the burning issue. I just need to find a happy medium with the micro cotton builds.

Noticed that my current set up is wicking quite well. although i may have been exaggerating the tilt (hoping to avoid dry hits) and noticed some deck flooding. lowered my tilt and it seems to be alright. Definitely a learning process with this mesh.... One that i may try to avoid. Ill probably go home and attempt some micro cotton builds and hope for some success.

I haven't been successful with sufficient wick speed w/ 1/16" ID coil. I do have a 5/64" that wicks pretty fast. 3/32" wick speed is super fast and never dries during chain vaping. I am only using twisted wire because I had problem w/ single strand wire surface going dry.
