Wow, the Reo Grand is amazing. The biggest surprise to me is, I cannot flood it. Being a dripper I'd gotten used to making sure that I was careful not to flood the atty and suffer from a drop in vapor and worse juice my mouth or leaking everywhere.

why oh why did I not get this a year ago when I first saw it:oops:

Already planning for Reo #2.

FYI: Thought of this because of the flooded comment.

(Using ekowool) After I drilled out my cap to 1/16" I noticed that if I squonk and don't vape more than a drag or two then lay the REO on it's side (air-hole down) some will leak out. This did not happen prior to drilling out the cap but I'n not positive that it would not have. I believe that this is more prevalent when my ekowool is close to needing to be dry burned due to gunk build up. Makes sense as it's ability to hold juice diminishes until it is torched.

On one build with cotton, I had it too close to the feed hole. the cotton swelled and semi covered the hole. The wick eventually became partially submerged decreasing vapor, "needing more squonkage"... it became a flooded mess.

Both these scenarios are operator error and can be avoided by paying attention to your gear and not getting distracted by your vape - which easily happens with a REO.

Yeah, not flooding makes it perfect for off-roading too, but you might have to strap it down - if that thing takes off on the roughs and hits you, you'll be in trouble mate:).

Love that place, we go at least 6 times a year, It's whole new kind of fun when it's snowy and icy :toast:

I haven't been wheeling in years :( Life is in my way...jobs and esponsibilities suck. Used to go to Gilbert, MN a couple times a month (at my peak) the three warmer seasons.
