I almost didn't get the package... I insisted the mailman look in the back of his truck... and after some intense negotiating, he found it. He skipped my house yesterday...

Big Package from V4L - Two starter kits. 30 carts, blank carts, liquids etc...
They threw in 8-10 extra carts and a car charger ;-) Thanks V4L!

I immediately put the batts in the charger and started on the usb passthrough. That was at 4pm. I haven't had a camel light since. Nor has my wife had one of her menthol Virginia slims. (4.5 hours is a long time... I usually have 8 or 9 by now)

We went out for a couple hours. I took Kamel 24mg and she took a cherry 18 mg... Within 5 minutes of pulling them out, we had given the small stack of V4L business cards away that were included in my box. Everyone was so intrigued... They surrounded us like we were celebrities. My favorite comment was from this octogenarian with a big white beard and an eye patch... "Boy! What the H*** are you stickin' in yer mouth. Lemme get a look at that?!" Is their a salty pirate or stale rum flavor liquid yet?

Anyway, hopefully day two will be just as easy to not light a real one up.
Flavors... Kamel 24 is really good... I also like sour green apple - lots of vapor.

Congrats,

Don't punish yourselves over "back sliding." My thought is that it tooks me years to develop the nasty habit of smoking...perserverance in continuing it through the coughing, wheezing, feeling crappy, etc...

So it is going to take some time to kick it, especially with big tobacco putting all kinds of crap in those death sticks to keep us addicted....It's no longer JUST the nicotine! You'll read some stories about some folks never needing an analog again after picking up a PV...Not everyone is capable of doing that. just keep with it!

This is when you let your eyes go just a little bit crazy and very quietly say, "I'm trying to quit smoking and I need this stuff, so never do that again."

Best wishes to y'all!

They surrounded us like we were celebrities.

This kind of thing happened to me at the club last Friday at my gig.

This just keeps getting better. The user community shall triumph! lasttango: I'm new too. E-cigs are the best.

The health officials and tobacco profiteers want analog addicts to remain until "they" can get around to approving the obvious solution.

This phenomenon is utterly fascinating. Is there a Frontline report on e-cigs?

Hello and welcome! I'm pretty new too. I haven't had an analog for 25 days. When I first got my e-cig, I had just bought a pack of smokes. I told myself it would be the last (but I'm not really sure I believed that). That last pack lasted for 8 days (I was a pack-and-a-half-a-dayer). From the moment I started vaping, the experience of smoking an analog changed! It just wasn't as enjoyable.

Someone should make up business cards that explain what we're doing so we can just hand it over when people start looking at us like the pirate guy or the ones who look like they think we're smoking crack in front of their children....

Anyway, I digress! Good luck and hang in there. It might not be easy... but nothin worth it ever is!
