First dead eGo battery resurrected

I have been using the eGo batteries exclusively with LR atties since Jan. After 4 months of constant use I finally killed one of the batteries ( the other battery is moaning as I type this...:D ). I didn't want to throw the electronics away and waste them so I decided to machine a new longer tube and put in a 750mAh cell and reuse the electronics. THe eGo tube is SS and very thin, I only had aluminum available so it is a little thicker. The cell is 100mAh higher and about 1/2" longer then a regular eGo.

I used to be a manual machinist. Now I draw pictures of things on a computer in 3D for other people to make. I miss the shop.

Can you do a production run of these?

Man, this is just like the Wild West or the Industrial Revolution or...what was that name of that last fiasco from Silicon Valley? I jest.

This is really, really interesting! Wide open territory.
