Alright I'm thinking of getting a vamo, the v2 comes in stainless steel but the v3 has the removable cover around the threading for cleaning, which is what I'm interested in.
So that's a VAMO v3, and I've been looking at Panasonic batteries. The CGR18650CH is 2250mAh for $10.50 or theNCR18650PD2900mAh for $14.50, both at 10A discharge. There's also theNCR18650B which is 3400mAh but it discharges at 2C/6.8A, so I figure I will go with the higher discharge ones. Not sure whether it's worth getting the NCR
Also grabbed some UltraFire 18350 at 1200mAh, stacking is safe enough right? $5.30 for a 2 pack, and I'm gonna stack I might buy another but for the mean time one pack should suffice, right?
They're all unprotected as the VAMO has built in .... and likes the higher discharge, right?

Anyway, I've also put it in a Kanger protank at $16, and a Cobra rba at $8.50

Now juices. I've heard tobacco flavours aren't that great?
The brands at FT I've been looking at are:
LIQUA $5.60 per 30mL - Apple, Chocolate, Berry - 18mg. Turkish Tobacco, American Blend, French Pipe.
Dekang $2.50 at 10mL - Yuxi, Watermelon, Suyan, Lucky Strike, Litchi (Lychee?), Kiwi, Gudang Garum, Guava, Grape, Dr. Pepper, DK TAB, Cream Candy, Coconut, Black Currant, Black Devil, Arkroyal
Hangsen $3.60 per 30mL - Apple, Arabic Tobacco, ZhongHua, Camel, Chocolate, Chocolate Cream, Eastern Tobacco, Fruit Mix, Indian Tobacco, Peach, Osmanthus, Rock Sugar, Yuxi
SCO $5.80 per 55mL - Camel, Parliament, Winston

Was thinking of getting all the SCO's listed, and some of the hangsens listed?
Appreciate all your worldy input

Hey man, can I ask about your set up? Do you have the v2 or v3?
Which batteries are you using? Do you think it's worth spending extra for more mAh?

I was having a look at this charger which has an output of 1.2A
Have you tried using a battery with a discharge lower than 10A on the VAMO?
Have you tried any of the juices mentioned?

I'm at just over $60 with the charger, Vamo, and batteries. I could get the NCR18650PD (2900mAh) for $4 more than the CGR18650CH (2250mAh)
I've also had a look at the NCR18650B which is rated at 3400mAh, but as I said it has a lower discharge rate and I don't think it's worth sacrificing for the extra mAh. I might get the NCR-PD instead of the CGH-CH just for the extra 650 mAh.

Thank you for the welcome, I'm probably just overthinking things

I have a v2 from fasttech. I use 18350 nimrod high drain in short mode. I actually use 18650 icr from interstate battery store for long mode 2200 mah. They last 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 days. I would get either a nitecore i2 or a trustFire charger. They stop charging when the battery is fully charged. I have a trustfire that I got from a local shop for 10.00. Works great. I may pick up a vamo v3 after a while just to have a back up if one dies. I just have other things on my to buy list first.

Those Panasonic ch batteries last a good long time. They last me about a day and a half with heavy vaping. They last me a good bit longer than the aw imr 18650s that i have (though, those are older). I've got the vamo v2 in stainless. It's holding up well so far. I've had it maybe 3 months. Bought as a backup to send my provari back for repairs, and I actually like it better than the provari.

I also use some aw imr 18350s for shorty mode. They don't last nearly as long, but sometimes it's nice to have a smaller device. You can always pick up more batteries later, it's not a big deal.

I have the trustfire 001 charger. It's not top of the line, but it works fine for me. I rotate between 3 18350 and 2 Panasonic 18650s. The aw imr 18650s (I think I have 4 old ones) I keep them charged, but rarely use them.

I've heard it's best not to stack. I use my 18350's for short mode and 18650's for long mode. The vamo is very nice. I love mine.
Welcome to the site.

Stacking is NO problem. Do not be concerned about stacking the 18350"s!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Vamo has a built in protection circuit. Plus using good batteries such as Panasonic, Efests or AW's provides additional safety.

And good choice on the VW Vamo!!

just a heads up...
i have never found a chinese e liquid i enjoyed, (and i've tried my share). there are many local vendors that make juices that are so good they will make you wonder why you haven't been doing this your whole life.

good luck

Chinese eliquid accounts for 90% of the eliquid used worldwide. Many on ECF use and enjoy Chinese eliquid. They are known for their tobacco flavors.

Be careful about the safety of US made eliquid.

I just got my Vamo V2 about a week ago and I love it. I did get the AW 18650 batts in 2600mah. I got a pair of those and a pair of the 18350 so I could go long or shorty and have spares to charge.

The only liquids you mention that I have tried are the Dekang Watermelon and the Dr. Pepper. Both are 2 of my favorites. I haven't specifically tried any of the others you mentioned. I'm also hunting juices I like. I have only tried one set of fresh made "artisan" juices. They were so incredibly harsh that I have been hesitant to just buy, untasted, anything fresh made. I have been very curious about the Mount Baker flavors as a lot of people here seem to love them.

Good luck on the hunt!

I'm more afraid of the Chinese eliquids. How do you know what's in it. And aren't they the ones that make the "bath salts". I dont think I can trust them to make my eliquids. Just sayin. My supplier makes and sells USA made eliquid however I want it. And, I know whats in it. I dont think I'll ever buy the chinese stuff again.

Hmm, most US made eliquid is made in someones kithen, basement, garage or bathroom. What sterile and sanitary processes do they use??? A recent bath salts manufacturing site raid was in the San Fransico area.

Here is a major Chinese eliquid facility:

Considering how much Chinese eliquid is used and has been used since 2006 without any reported instances of a problem, not to mention that vaping was invented in China, these irrational fears have no foundation in reality.

Maybe too late to help, but I have both a V2 and V3. V3 is slightly better imho. Get the stainless. OLED screen, removable top, not as slippery, order with or without the rhinestones, RMS standard...no NO1 or NO2, etc. Not just cosmetic, but improved functionality, and same 33.3 chip. My :2c:. Welcome to the Forum, congrats and Vape On!

Order the multi pack evod kit, either:

$18.15 EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (1.5mL) 7-pack - 2.6

Or,

$24.78 EVOD Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer (10-Pack / 1.5mL) 10-pack - 2.4

Last one is by far the best topper investment I've ever made. My two cents. Good Luck!
