Why are you calling it a "nicotine vaporizer?" Many use their personal (portable) vaporizer without nicotine.

Well my bad. I didn't think anyone would use one of these without nicotine in it. I also didnt know if calling it an e-cig was accurate. I've had an e-cig before a couple of years ago and it looked like a cigarette. These tank systems with tips instead of cartridges are totally different looking. Also i plan on vaporizing nicotine with it so it seemed like a pretty good thing to call it lol

Thank you for that! So should Is the mini vivi nova tank better than the vision ego 2.0?

One isn't really better than the other - they are just different. For a new user it's my opinion that the clearomizer will be far easier to deal with when it comes to cleaning and filling. The replacement heads simply screw in place. The Vivi Nova has more parts and is fussier to get working right and prevent problems with leaking.

What's better vg, pg/vg,

VG produces tons of vapor, but some people sense it dulls flavor a bit. PG can give you better flavor and a stronger sense of throat hit. Neither is better per se - you need to try both to figure out your likes and dislikes. Of course, there are all sorts of sliding scales on the percentage of PG and VG in a liquids to balance the experience out to your tastes.

For a few people there is the problem of allergic reaction to either type. On a first time order I suggest you get at least one liquid in high PG and one in high VG to test the waters. Both for personal preferences and to check if you have any allergy or sensivity problems with either type.

is menthol and mint good stuff?

Entirely a personal choice. Were you a menthol smoker? Fortunately, good menthol is pretty easy to find in an e-liquid.

What cartomizers fit on the twist? And recommendations?

Anything with 510 threading will fit. Stick with 2.0 ohm or higher stuff. Low resistance stuff is hard on eGo batteries and shortens their life span. Personally, I don't like cartos so I have to bow out on specific recommendations.

Crap I ordered the mini vivi nova.. I emailed myvaporstore.com to see if they would change it to the vision clearomizer and change the heads accordingly as well

Makes sense. Its just a matter of enough nut jobs out there already trying to get them banned. Some folks are trying to explain to those types and others (concerned family members) that they're also used by those with asthma and other medical conditions, dieters or some, like myself, who are diabetic and can't get the flavor of gooey desserts any other way. I'm sure some of those folks, when seen by others, wouldn't like anyone thinking they're using nicotine. As smokers and x-smokers we don't consider it a bad thing but they might. Most of us, and vendors, call them PVs.. like I said Personal or portable (my preference) vaporizers. The device itself really has nothing to do with nicotine... its all in what's put in the juice or how its used. Didn't mean to offend you... not a big deal here on the boards at least... just thinking of the public and the zero nic users.

Oh ok cool! I didn't know people used them for asthma and just for flavor. That's neat. I'll start referring to it as a PV now too personal vaporizer. Exactly what it is. Sweet.

Alrighty. I'll try that. Is there too high of a setting though? Is max voltage to high for 1.8 ohms?

I just read that 1ml of 18mg nicotine liquid = 10 cigarettes. So 30 ml should be about 300 cigarettes. Does that seem about right?
If so that's about 15 packs of cigarettes for $13 dollars!! Wow! That's a $2000 savings on nicotine a year for me! Just amazing if its true

It's ok. You really have to try this stuff out to determine your likes and dislikes anyway. The issue you have here as a new user is you got a "one." When you want to change flavors from mint to grape (I saw your list) you have to learn how to thoroughly clean the Vivi Nova between liquids. For the same price you could have bought a couple clearos and a bunch of cartos to give you a wider/easier set of options with your first vape experiences.

I believe there's no true calculation or comparison between the 2, I was also under the impression it was completely opposite of your equation. Anyways I could be wrong but I'm a little weary of the direction some of these questions have been posed. I'd hate to see false info being passed around, and yes my setup is a PV, not a nicotine delivery what's it.

Yes, max on my twist is 4.8v, paired with a 1.8 ohm atomizer it would generate a little more amps than the battery can handle. Since ego batteries are rated around 2.2amps, 4 volts is about as high as you want to go on a 1.8 ohm atty. Now, I've pushed them to their limits before, I used to use 1.5 ohms on a 5v box mod, cheap ultrafire batts that aren't rated any better. Just know you're wearing things down fast that way, more cost in the end.

As others say, the cig pack comparison doesn't work and is just a marketing thing. I smoked 30 marb lights a day and started at 12-18mg, was getting dizzy at first because I didn't want to put it down. You learn what you can handle. Eventually, I grew more tolerant and moved up to 24mg to stay satisfied, at that time I no longer needed to puff constantly and could set it down for 30 minutes then come back to it. It's all in how frequently you vape which decides what mg will reach your satisfaction zone, so my advice is start at medium strength then work from there. You're going to save a ton of money no matter what... until you go mod or juice crazy. Good luck.

I was just wondering. It's something I read on here. I'm not too concerned with how much it translates into. Just asking questions. I like to learn alot. Just curious, what do you mean by " I'm a little weary of the direction some of these questions have been posed"?
