I know it's not the greatest pics but just looking for input on my first.

smok Magneto V2 w/ mad vapes clone atty. I used 28g kanthel, 2 mm screwdriver and 9 wraps which came out to 1.8ohms.

Next time try some organic cotton balls, or some Peach & Cream cotton yarn walmart, none of the fancy color ones) as wick. I could never get use to flavor after switching from silica to cotton.

Thanks for the tip.. I was so surprised even with silica the difference in flavor using a dripper coming from a kanger aerotank on an mvp v2. First hit was....HAAARD lol

That's a very good start.!! Seems to be missing a coil though. Nest time do and extra loop, the pull back on the wire to roll off a loop, wil make that right side much more uniform.

Don't use silica personally, or cotton, prefer Ramie fiber. Rayon, cc cotton, and hemp fiber are great wicks also.

Make sure to check out the Micro Coil Build Thread , if you already haven't. Tis where I learned to build, lots of tips, tricks and support, from other members. Fact one member does consulting for the vape industry, and was instrumental in showing us the benefit of tension wrapping coils.

Found the Artistic Wire Coiling Gizmo ,in the micro coil thread, that I use to tension wrap coils directly off the spool, using an eraser to apply tension and keep the wire on the spool. Purrfect coils every time, and usually within 0.03 of my target ohms.

Switched to organic cotton and dual micro coils at a total .8ohms.... Great vape!!! Thank you everyone for your wisdom and input.

I actually wanted to stay around 1 ohm but that's what it came out to be. I know .8 is not extreme by any means considering it will fire on the mvp lol. So that's what I'm rocking for now. Nice warm vape actually hits nicely.
