yeah....I'm a noob on the Genesis style too...I mean I have the bulli but it really is more of a security blanket for the end of the good ol vaping days...zombie apocalypse but this Cobra makes building an atty look appealing and fun and more than this...it will give me a reason to use my provari that...well...just hasn't seen as much face time due to my Reo collection and the fact that the REO is so darn efficient. I'm in for some atty building fun and if the taste of the juice comes out as good as some are suggesting...well then, that's a bonus.

gonna start my questions list as a new post....in rba sub forum...good place for advice btw

I'll have to go look around for this rba sub forum...do some digging around...I have a lot of question like the atty coil itself...which is best atty coil material to use....mesh counts...any little nugget I can find...see you there.

A bump for the thread that made me buy a Cobra in the first place. :) Thanks Al!(I assume that's your name)

Once I had a good setup on it, which took a while since I'm quite new with RBA's, it's just fantastic.
I love the draw on it, feels just right. I enjoy a 1 ohm coil on a mech mod as I type, juuuuust great!

I just browsed through your U-wick video and now I want to try that as well, have you set it up with a U yet?

I got a good mechanical finally.... Poldiac BTO off the classies; its a monster!
Got my Cobra 3ml going with 28g 3/4 wrap... unbelievable. Glad I kept my Cobra. .8 Ohms. Nothing hits like the Poldiac btw.
The pos screw post on the Cobra is quite tight, but prewrapping the coil is easy with the 28g. The great thing about 28 is it not only gives you easy sub 1.0 Ohms, it also is very forgiving regarding hot spots; meaning not much hot spotting.

Poldiac & the Cobra with 28awg on a u-wick at 0.9ohms makes me happy. :)

Why do people say the cobra is made out of Titanium? Some parts of it are made out of Titanium "Alloy". An alloy is like Aluminium, Hell the cobra even contains Aluminium. So its made from grade 5 Titanium Alloy.

Only grades 1-4 of Titanium are unalloyed & considered to be commercially pure. I build my Atomisers with grade 2 Titanium.

I also heard that only the top cap & bottom are made out of Titanium Alloy, the rest being Stainless REVIEW OF THE COBRA REPAIRABLE ATOMISER FOR ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES - YouTube

still a very nice atomizer... but yeah, its pretty heavy. I have a Wand Ti that is light as a feather, much thinner too, but machined perfectyly.

Poldiac is a beautiful combo with Cobra... since then I've found that most high end mechanicals work great as long as the design is for good connectivity... Pol holds its own but be prepared to take care of the silver contacts.
VS... rhodium plated contacts of a Super t P+

if you go to the DID thread - Jim D. who makes Pold. makes DIDs, one of the best ever Genesis atomizers... there's lots of info on the Poldiac... its a long thread and the poldiac starts around the last 4th of the thread so just go backwards from the end.

The DID thread should be in RBA's right. I am not seeing it.

you're welcome... btw the thread title is about the DID, same maker Jim D.

the DID is one of the best atomizers i've tried...
one thing that the Cobra has over it is glass tank...
but you can get glass for the DID... helps for seeing how much juice is in your tank and not burning your coil if there's not enough. not to mention overflowing when filling.
that hasn't stopped me from enjoying the heck out of the DID...
