Sorry for the second reply but when you check Royal Mail for the tracking above where I put the status mine says "your item has reached the destination country" but then below it says "has arrived in HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC and is being processed for delivery."

Does yours say the same thing?

It sounds like yours is making a healthy transit.

My Royal Mail shows that its reached the destination country. All my USPS tracking says is "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment". Thats it. No dates, no location info.

The entire Royal Mail tracking info is.....

Your item, posted on 17/09/12 with reference RUxxxxxxxGB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

You should be able to plug your Royal Mail tracking number into the USPS site and track its progress within the US.

I would say yours is at the next step because my USPS just says Status as Origin Post is Preparing Shipment. Man I feel like a little kid, really not good since it will take quite awhile and I only ordered Wednesday night.

Yeah, thats what mine says too! The other stuff was from the Royal Mail site.

Phew! Okay, I am feeling a little better now knowing that my Cobra may not be lost after all and it might actually find its way to my mailbox. :D

I'll let you know when mine shows up to help give you a better idea of when you might be getting yours.

Thanks, that would be very much appreciated. I can't stop pushing the tracking button on both tracking sites, this is gonna be a long wait haha.

Customs is so erratic. I had a Bulli sit in NY for almost a month before it was released.
Most of the items I've purchased from Europe get here in a week to 10 days.

Appreciate the heads up, fingers are crossed it is in a week. Unfortunately I think I have watched all the videos and read the threads for the cobra. Also, thanks again for letting me know Scotts vids on the rolling/oxidizing a ss mesh wick, watched and bookmarked. I am not sure if you have seen it, or if it was linked in this thread, but there is another thread on 500 mesh that is really good, and talks about size/rolling and tests another forum member has done. Here is the link if anyone is interested http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/330407-500-ss-mesh-74.html

I am as pleased as can be with the Cobra. I've had it for 4 days now and already have a very nice setup dialed in on the Buzz Pro with #500 mesh and 5 wraps of 32ga Kanthal. Love the snap-off cap, love the small-ish chamber, love the not-too-airy draw, love the lightweight titanium (balance is nearly perfect on the hit button of the Buzz), and love the 3ml capacity; not too big and not too small for my favorite juices (GoodeJuice Wild Turkey is in there now). This Genny seems quite well suited for my long-slow-draws with mildly warm vape style of preference. And thanks to Emonty for the pointer to the the alba vapours site! Cobalt tank is on it's way from VapeRite now. This Genny is worthy of some "bling"...

Very good to hear. Know its gonna be a wait, but from what I have read/heard it will be worth it.

I got my Cobra this morning.

So far it is everything I thought it would be. Lots of vapor and lots of flavor! I started off with 32awg Kanthal and the 400 mesh that came with the Cobra and everything is working great. My next experiment will be with the 500 mesh that arrived last week.

Now I can finally get some rest and quit hitting the 'track package' button. :D

Good to hear, I am sure your computer enter button is quite pleased as well :) Sounds like you are having no issues with making a wick and building a coil. When you oxidize your coil do you oxidize it before its rolled, after? Also, do you oxidize all of it or just the part that the coil touches?

I wanted to check. From what I have read genesis type atomizers aren't ones to be left on their sides. So does everyone leave out a screw for air flow? If not, how is the wicking without the screw in? Either way, do you always keep upright or does it not leak?

Also, think I have gotten very lucky. Check USPS after work and it shows "Processed Through Sort Facility October 01, 2012, 7:44 pm
ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS)" Super excited that I may get it before the weekend as it is a 3 day weekend and plenty of time to play with it.

It took me two builds before I got it right on my 3rd one. I only oxidized after I rolled but I think next time I will pre-oxidize before I roll and oxidize again after the roll. I oxidized the whole wick.

I am just keeping mine straight up for the most part. I have layed it down in my lap a few times but kept it at a 45ish degree angle to keep it from leaking. I tried it without the removing any additional screws hoping I would get lucky with my setup but I had to leave out a screw to get proper wicking. Leaking will always be an issue with Genesis styles if you lay it on its side.

My tracking never updated with the NY Customs info. It just said "Origin Post......." then updated with my local post office info. So when my package went through Customs, it didn't get scanned. Yours could be in customs for a week or so but hopefully not and you get it by the weekend.

Good Luck!!!

I like the looks of this cobra, its really a nice atty but I'm a fan of screw on caps, I carry my pv in my front pocket at work so I need the cap to stay in place..if it had an o ring and a thread to screw the top cap, I would have jumped all over it...

I don't have mine yet, still in transit, but from what I have read it has a dual oring so you can have throat hit adjustment. This way there is no need to unscrew the cap some, it looks like a pretty good seal. The others will be able to say more as they have used theirs.

The problem with the Genesis mods with screw on caps is getting the hole to line up properly. It can be quite a pain in the neck. The Orion might be more the device for you. It has a screw on cap, and is comparable to the Cobra for flavor and vapor production. Both are fantastic.

The dual o-ring design keeps the cap on very securely. The only pocket I would carry a Genesis device in is a vertical side pocket. Most all Genesis attys will leak when laid on their sides, so a vertical pocket is rather necessary.

So I should play the Lotto. Come home and there was a notice they tired to deliver my cobra today, unfortunately I was at work. Now I gotta figure out how to get them to leave it here since it was sent certified and I won't be home again tomorrow.

But, a cheers to USPS and ISC in New York as well as Alba Vapours and ridiculously fast shipping :toast:
