So I should play the Lotto. Come home and there was a notice they tired to deliver my cobra today, unfortunately I was at work. Now I gotta figure out how to get them to leave it here since it was sent certified and I won't be home again tomorrow.

But, a cheers to USPS and ISC in New York as well as Alba Vapours and ridiculously fast shipping :toast:
The same thing happened to me. I was home on Monday and just left the notice in the mailbox. I picked it up the next day from the post office. I think that if you sign the slip and leave it in the mailbox, then they will pick up the slip tomorrow and deliver it Saturday.

Congrats on the speedy delivery!

I love these Cobras, I got the small one on a Provari and the bigger on on another Provari, very consistent vape, 28-30AWG Kanthal on both. The Draw is not only very good but it pulls the juice up into the wick better I feel then all the other Genesis units I've used. I'm really enjoying both of mine a Lot :)

Cobra is in hand and wow is this thing awesome and sturdy but light. Also a lot smaller then I though it would be. Gonna give it a clean and soon make a wick and coil. Thanks to everyone for their replies as well, let me know if you have any suggestions you have found helpful. Have watched a lot of videos and read threads so the mesh wick shouldn't be to hard, fingers crossed.

As always :vapor:

FYI for those who are new to these like me. OXIDIZE, boy did I learn what a good oxidized mesh is. First I just held it to the gas stove several times while it glowed, and then put juice on it several times to burn off. I popped so many coils. Finally I went back to the stove, same issue. Went back again and this time quenched it in water and that made a world of difference doing that like 3 times. Finally got a coil to read 2.3 ohms, with 32 kanthal. Also do not use a pen top cap to move the coils it started to melt that and luckily it burned off what little got on there so it didn't ruin the mesh or coil (or taste of the juice.) So now it is working very well, I am breaking it with some Gandalf from HHV. Taste comes and goes but I think that is due to breaking it in, plus I am slowly bringing up the volts, right now at 4 so it is only like 6.7 watts.

So far I really love this thing and well worth the money. Even though it was annoying I surprisingly did not get frustrated, a lot of fun to play with. Actually excited to build another coil and wick sometime, may do it sooner then later because I do not like how my bottom mesh is. I tried to cut it at an angle after rolled and it kinda smushed it.

Do you think that will be fine, it seems to wick fine, but would it make a difference to make sure it is cleaner cut or at an angle for the mesh wick?

So the only negative is I only have one

Do you owners see any leakage from the Cobra?

Once, to test I held it completely upside down with the cap off. I had a drop come from the wick. My wick is pretty solid but there is still a small hole. I think it would be really hard for it to leak from the air hole because it is pretty long between the atomizer portion and the tank where the juice is.

Do you carry yours around with you? Just got mine this Saturday and wondering whether this will be something I bring with me or primarily a home use type.

I carry mine on a Provari in the side pocket of painters shorts. Or it's in my cupholder. I'm not very nice to most of my gear. That's why a quality piece like the Cobra is one of my favorites.

Unfortunately I tend to go on the overprotective side of my stuff, my provari hasn't even laid on the table without being on something soft, haha. I will second the quality of the cobra. Definitely was a great purchase. Very happy now with my novas to rebuild and my cobra.

Well, to continue adding to the cobra's awesomeness. I finished the gandalf and cleaned out by syringing some water in and then out. Dry burned till the little water that was still in the tank was taken out by the wick. Added some Long Bottom Leaf, which is mainly VG. Loved the flavor before, but since primarily VG it had little to no throat hit. Now with the cobra it actually has a nice throat hit to hit. I gotta attribute it to the cobra because by now I should have done through anything left over on the wick.

+1 Cobra, no I just gotta get a tank with a fire etched G.I. Joe Emblem :D

Phiniac is supposed to be making tanks for the cobra...maybe they can help you out. ;)

Well since I have been fortunate and got my right set ups early on, I can definitely see a G.I. Joe tank to match the cobra. I almost waited until phiniac started carrying the Cobra RBA to order one, really glad I didn't.
