and one more sorry. going to do coil with drill bit. what size drill bit fits in cobra?

I find the hex screwdriver that came with mine to be a perfect size for the coil. I'm not sure how much variation there is in those, though. I've seen other kits that came with a different hex driver than my yellow-handled one.

Hi AG, I just got mine based on 1. Scotts review; he loves it especially the less airy draw. 2. your review too.
I am so surprised by the tight draw, I mean its a not better than "airy", its the opposite = almost impossibly tight.
I took a pin to see if it were clogged and it seems to help a bit.
I wonder if they have changed something in the draw hole or is mine a fluke?
I'll take a tiny bit and see if I can't ream it a bit.

The reason I got it is because Scott mentioned it was less airy than a Zen, and I have a hard time getting used to an airy draw, but this is ridiculous.
It does hit like a Champ though.

Maybe yours is irregular?
It has a 1mm air hole. :)

Mine was the same when i got it, and i think AG said you can take a small paperclip and push it through the air hole. I did that and it was wonderful after that. But yes its still kinda tight. One other thing you can do is twist top can so the air hole is not right in front of the wick and you will get more air flow like that too.

I'm still a newb when it comes to Genesis'... but the 1mm air hole is what it is I guess... what I do with geni rba's is what IT is... still got a lot of stuff to figure out.
Even my iHyb with its airy draw has yet to reach its potential with me...
What you folks did in the last year with them, I couldn't be bothered... time to catch up.

I saw your Hellfire vid today AG, with the less oxidized wick... thank God... wow I have been oxidizing the hell out of mine and my pluid turned black even...hahah.
I just set my Cobra up with a less oxidized wick...dang that hole is small; i don't see how you get 40-45 mm rolled into less than 2mm. I cut it less than that and had to practically screw the wick in LOL.
I did 4 wraps with the wire that came with it from Vape Dudes ... looks like 32 but may be 30 awg. 3-4 wrap metered at 1.4 Ohm. So i lowered my Provari V2 to 2.9 Ohms... and now its reading 1.2 Ohm...oops.
I got a top hot spot too (of course)... but the flavor is so clean... I see where this is heading :)
thanks for all the tips

off to my iHyb now... this is starting to be fun

I just purchased the Cobra from Vapedudes on Sunday, Feb 3rd...it's shipped and on it's way to me....looking forward to this...it looks like a nice piece of kit to add and have on hand. Thanks for the videos AG, really appreciate your thoughtful approach to details. Also purchased a nice workbench butane torch for my oxidizing needs. Curious, why is the oxidizing necessary...is it needed to achieve capillary action or does it prevent hotspots and/or is it necessary to clean the ss mesh? Thanks guys!

Cobra Atomizer

its for stopping conductivity... when you think about it, all the metal wire, its amazing you can even use mesh (what do i know though). too much oxidizing slows down capillary, and like AG says is not necessary but counter prouctive. I mean 6months ago everyone was burning juice on the wick - after oxidizing it already.. lots still do.
I'm just learning about Geni's myself and got one based on AG's review... I'll be posting some questions about it for Duane.
