Really?! I didn't know that because I have no need for vw. I kept it on vv, but we're not going to have a vw vs. vv debate are we? :)

It all depends. Maybe if the previous poster would admit his ignorance about the fact that the Vamo DOES leave everything as you left it if you change a battery if you're using the VW setting then yes. Otherwise not, I'm afraid. :)

I admitted in post # 42 I didn't know the vamo retained the settings after a battery change. As far as not having a choice to use vw with a provari, no you don't have a choice. However, unless you actually own a provari, technically speaking, you're limited in you're experience in regards to both devices that have been commented on this thread. Finally, vw is a preference choice, it's a feature, not a necessity...

You'r quite right. My experience is horribly limited. I've only been vaping since 2008. I'm beginning to see why people dislike the Provari fanboys.

ok, lol...

"Another thing that is of value to me about the provari is when you change the battery, everything is just as you left it; not so with the vamo."

As I pointed out in a previous post, this is not the case with the Vamo in VW mode. Any Provari owner out there prepared to accept that point? I'm getting awfully tired of hearing constant streams of fanboyism about a device that refuses to move with the times. People often say "It doesn't need to." Don't you know how protectionist and stupid that sounds?

I know that you have all paid large sums of cash for your devices and therefore love them . What you have to understand is that Vamo owners have paid small sums of money (and therefore love them) and are proud of the fact that they also do VW - which can be handy.

All the Rolls Royce/ Ford Popular arguments are both old and innaccurate imho (each side will choose which one the Rolls Royce is).

A good vaping device is one that vapes well irrespective of price tag or country of origin.

Like I said, vw probably isn't that important to some ppl as it is to others, but I do understand the "fanboyism." I can't stand that stuff either. I was just trying to give an opinion about the two devices as someone who owns both. As far as I'm concerned, the vamo is a better purchase for the value and price point. However, after using the vamo for an extended period of time, I tried the provari and liked it better than the vamo. It's up to each individual to decide if the price is worth it or not. It doesn't have vw, but for me and others, that is irrelevant because experienced users know the resistance and voltage to get a good vape for them. I didn't like the price, but unfortunately I had to fund my own experience and education. However, like I said before, I firmly believe the provari needs more than a cosmetic change. I agree that they are behind the times in some ways, but they tailor their product to a specific group of ppl and those ppl like it. What can you say...

Well, good luck to you. If you're a happy vaper then that's all that matters. I do wish the device wars would disappear and we could all just vape in harmony. Maybe we're closer to that now than we've ever been. I hope so - I'm a born optimist. :)

So just let this old horse sleep. Buy whatever you want and vape happy. Be it an eGo, twist, spinner, lavatube, or what ever you have.
Give up people. This gets old really quick. Buy what you want and when it breaks then decide what you want to do.
T, you're getting cranky and no fun at your age.

Just messing with you. ;) Enjoy the popcorn, it's free. :pop:
