I purchased the magneto and works great with my KFL and RSST.

I've always liked the k100, i agree the body and button on the magneto are more appetizing but being the k100 is a telescoping mod it offers more possibilities! Plus realistically the big thing about the magnetic buttons is they're supposed to last longer than the traditional spring button but seriously, who has worn the spring out on their mod? Maany other things will fail before the button does.

idk if its just me, but i do get some misfires on my magneto. could be user error, but i cant always tell if its firiing unles i hear the crackle of my coil. i feel like i have to be more aware when firing the magneto. it used to be my go-to device cuz i liked the look with my igo-w, but now i use my k100 for my everyday beater. (not afraid of dropping it or scratching it.) the k100, imo, is more efficient as far as firing goes.

i notice when i have the magneto in 18650, the telescoping part feels a little unstable and moves around a bit when i try to press the button. but maybe its a QC thing. the two youre inquiring about were the first of my mod collection. now i have launcher and astro clones that are my new favorites. but for a night out, i take my k100.

also, the button assembly on the magneto makes it quite a bit longer than other mods. just putting in my .02 for your decision. :) btw, look around. theres other mods out there for decent prices. 101 vape just released the m16 clone for $25. i picked that bad boy up instantly. haha.

for the prices of mods/clones nowadays, why not try em all? hahaha. happy vaping!

I would go magneto. It has an adjustable center post and is 22 mm, those are two huge pluses over the k100 in my mind. Plus, magnets are awesome.... :)

My k100 has an adjustable center post. Just make sure you screw on the atty first. And my magneto V1 doesn't. Of course, the magneto v2 has the adjustable center post, so the OP just has to make sure the shop has the v2.

I thought the k100 didn't have an adjustable center pin, my mistake

I ended up buying the V2 magneto at a local B&M after checking out a wide assortment of other makes. It was my first mechanical, so didn't want to get anything too extravagant, but didn't care for the cheapo ones either. I also wanted a firing button that didn't have to be locked in order to stand on a table without firing, the ones with very soft resistance felt a little too wobbly for my preference.
