Hey everyone! I've been vaping for roughly 1 and a half years now and I just ordered my first Mech Mod. I know my ohms law and battery safety, I bought a bonza mech kit since I love the Bonza rda and I'm going to be using a Samsung 30T 21700 battery. I bought a pair of coils which are recommended on the site for 21700 mech mods that ohm out to 0.1 ohms together. I asked if it's safe to use (Obviously not going to chain vape) with this battery on Reddit and got some contradicting answers, most people said it's fine if I don't chain vape but others said it was short. I just thought I'd ask here too! Any help at all is appreciated :)

If you know Ohm's law and battery safety rules then what do you think?

By I know ohms law I know how to work out that it'll push roughly 47 amps and the battery is rated for 35 which is why I was confused, some people said it will just short and the majority said it's fine if the battery stays cool
I only use mechs anymore. I wouldn't do it myself.

    47 (actually 42) is a higher # than 35 ;). Much higher, in fact.

All I use is dual Killer coils at .17ohms in my mechs. I use 30Ts and 20S batteries. I'm a cloud chaser that like lots of flavor. I make my own coils and DIY my ejuice. There are alot of other members on here like me. My advice would be that anyone that tells you it's ok to draw 42amps on a 35amp battery is someone that you shouldn't listen to.

That was the main reason why I was confused, everything i've read has said to not push the batterys amps but I started getting confused while watching VapingBogans videos where he uses the same setup with the same battery and 0.1 Ohm coils

If you're not mistaken, then you now know who to stop watching or at least to take anything they say or do with a "grain of salt". Most of the "top" YT vapers are idiots with cameras and a high degree of narcissism, to be frank.

I wouldn't go that low. I usually keep it .16 or above with 21700s. You can add a wrap to each coil and it will bring the resistance up. You have a picture of the coils? It will help us help you. Plus I like pictures of coils. High mass is not your friend on mechmods. If you do it right you will get better performance from a higher resistance lower mass build. I usually stick to flat wire or thin core wire claptons.

Sadly I can't send a pic of them since I ordered them online and they haven't arrived yet but they're Cloud Revolution Fralien 2X700, Is it possible to get a 21700 battery that is rated for 45A since when I was looking for coils these were described as the best coils for 21700 mechs
