Sorry, identical to my post in newbies section. Been smoke free for almost 6 months, want a mod for my anniversary. Been using 1300mah spinners until now with Davides and dual Aspires. Going to get a Panasonic 3200mah that has 3100mah? of capacity. Going to try to use my samsung usb charger with 2a output to charge it. Anything else I need?

I kind of want an E-LVT. Seems to be a mod I could take on my kayak camping trips.

That's exactly why I got one, though I've not tested it in that way yet. It's very nicely rugged is at least splash-and-rain- proof, though I wouldn't trust it to be submersible (it'd sink faster than a rock anyway). It's too heavy (for me) to be a daily carry but it works very well, with a fairly good VV and VW range.

I'd have no concerns putting it in my pocket in shorts likely to get wet or having it sit in the cup holder or (since the cup holder is usually occupied w/a can of "kayak fuel"), on the deck b/t my legs on my sit-on-top. Having pretty good experience with ruggedized GPS units, VHFs, etc. I have every confidence that it will endure paddle splash, wet dogs jumping in and out of boats, etc... The flashlight thing struck me as gimmicky at first (and still does, honestly) but I actually have used it, FWIW.

I do computer repairs all the time, so I'll prob use the flashlight.... and I've dropped my spinners so many times and they are bent.... but basically I need to look at battery replacement at some point, and the 3100mah batteries look good over my 1300mahs! I also like the aspire dual coils, the 2.1ohm ones can do 6v, and spinners can only do 4.8v. Even the 1.8ohms can do 5v.... so I want to play with voltage a bit too.

Just got mine in the mail today after running a MVP all day every day till it died (took most of a year) and wanting something with a replaceable batter, but not wanting to take it out to charge every night and...
I like it, its HEAVY and I like that, feels substantial, and I can mess with wattage for the first time which is cool. Running with off the shelf bottom coil tanks and it works just like I'm used to.
Poor design choice on the flap that protects the input/output but can still charge on my long micro usb cable so I'm happy about that, the flap makes it easy to knock out the cord though...
Good stuff, I'm a one mod and lousy backup till it breaks kinda guy, but I don't see having to buy a new mod for a good long time.

I love both of mine. Any good battery will work fine in it.

When you hold in the fire button to take a vape, hold in the - button for a 1/2 a second & then let them go. It will continue to fire for 5 seconds.

Sounds like its faulty if it continues to fire without you holding the button.

Yep, I ordered a Green one too! Don't get it until Tuesday though. Dam Canada Day. Hope the Panasonic battery gives it a kick....
Yeah, now I'm on the lookout for a high capacity battery. Mine are 2250 mAh. I bought some 3000mAh 18650 battries on E Bay,but they don't last as long as my 2250's do? They do let the mod (VTR) put out more power though!:vapor:

I've had mine for a couple days now and I do have a new slight gripe, the rubber that makes it feel so secure in the hand makes it quite secure from getting into or out of my pocket, esp after I work up a sweat. Other than that and the input/output flap I'm in love.

One question I always had on these was the quality of the rubber. Is it a lint magnet too? I've added this to my shopping cart online multiple times but never pulled the trigger on it. Maybe if I get to hold one in person then I'll get one.

You might try to rub some "armor all" on the rubber parts,to make them a little slicker? Now that you mention it,it will be a little "grippy" going in and out of the pockets!

Mine aren't a lint magnet. I like how sticky they are. They are less likely to slip out of my pocket.

I took the E-LVT out yesterday for a 4 Hour flatwater paddle and it did hold up exactly as I had expected it to. Throughout most of the afternoon it sat in about 1/4" of water collected in an indent on the deck of my boat and still fired without fail every time. Our dog loves to swim and will hop b/t my wife's boat and mine frequently, which brings a lot of extra water onboard. Previously I'd packed my spinner and tanks in a Pelican box, but when a wet dog is inbound you don't always have a lot of time to pack things away...

They are not waterproof. You should make sure and dry it out good.

I've had mine for a few days now and am very pleased with it. It's water resistant to IPX 1 - roughly a light rain shower for 10 mins. I haven't tested that! Solid in the hand. I have a Panasonic NCR18650PF in mine which works very well. Goes 1 volt higher than the MVP (i.e. 6v). Charges fine from usb - but I've emailed Dovpo who tell me that this is not suitable for use as a passthrough. The rubber port cover isn't a biggie although it does partially obstruct the charging port. Hope that helps.
