Hello!

Wanted to start by saying im a n00b like many people using this forum. I had been using V2 cartridges and got very sick of purchasing.

Now I have stepped up to the Joyetch eGo-C Twist with a Vivi Nova 3.5 ml tank. I love the Variable Voltage aspect , but my one dislike is the size of battery when in my pocket. Is there another battery out there that is smaller in size with VV?

I have done some research, tried my best at least. Found that there is an iTaste VV 3.0? What are my other options for a smaller size but similar hit. I am assuming that the trade off here will be battery duration, which I can deal with.

Thanks in advanced, lots to learn!

I am not aware of a smaller vv than an ego size battery. You might see if they make one in a lower Mah size. Do they offer the twist in a 650mah size battery? That would be the shortest vv ego possibility. Another way to cut down on size is switching to an EVOD cartomizer which is thinner and less bulky than a vivi nova.
I am sure others will share their ideas as well.

I would switch to the vision vivi nova minis atleast the bigger ones leak pretty easy out the bottom thread but the minis are designed better to stop it. The others mentioned the 650 and 400 batteries so no need to go there. You could always skip the vv and just use 1.8ohm heads in your tanks and use a regular ego battery which would be allot shorter with the same mah.

Interesting, very informative everyone. I actually put the 1.8ohm on my vivi nova tank immediately when i got the setup, I think it starts at 2.4 ohm with the stock vivi nova 3.5ml tanks.

I will look into the other options like 650 mah. Do most people normally use 1.8ohm?

So I am going to get the 650 mah eGo not sure if I am going to go Twist or normal. After much research, I find that it will be better than that of the Vision Spinner at 400 mah. So my next question is, what would be a good tank to go with this?

Would a Mini Vivi Nova tank be my best bet? Or could I spend a little more money for something that would not only be a good fit for the size but a little higher end?

Thanks again for everything, loving this forum!

If you like the vivi nova you have now you will like the mini, just make sure its a vision vivi nova mini since the other brands aren't made aswell. You could go for an evod or other bottom coil but they tend to gurgle and leak a tiny bit out the bottom when they get under 1/3, whereas the vivi novas when they get low you just have to tip them more often to keep the wicks saturated. I prefer the vivi novas myself since they give a warmer vape and I hate cleaning liquid off the battery contact even a little bit from the bottom coil clearos.

I've always been pleased with mini novas myself. For an on-the-go device, I like to have something on me that I wouldn't mind losing. With a 650mAh eGo and a mini vivi, if it gets stolen it's nothing $20 thrown at fasttech won't fix. The capacity is also a good match: the battery lasts about as long as the tank so you're not carrying battery capacity or juice you won't be able to use when you go out.

The 400mAh eGos are cute and very pocket friendly, but at that point I find I run a realistic chance of running the battery down in a normal outing. It's worth it for me to pack at least 650mAh, which I can stretch a whole day if I really needed to.

Evods have eGo threading and a slightly smaller (but still adequate for me) capacity, which makes them about a half-inch shorter sitting on an eGo battery. I have no leaky/gurgle problems, but as already mentioned, bottom-coil versus top-coil is a personal preference and you may not like it.

This helps immensely! Ya i guess I just wanted to try out a bottom feeder. I hear that the upside is consistent fatter hits so I dont have to be tipping my Vivi tank to always make sure that my coils are saturated in liquid. I do realize that the gurgling can be an issue. SO all in all, should i go Kanger ProTank, mini Vivi, or evod? I would love to try the Kanger Pro Tank to get some "swag" haha. But I dont know how it would look on a 650. Thanks again guys. Learned so much in the one day of being on here.

I been hitting my 1000mah ego C Twist daily with Vivi Nova 3 ml tank and loving it. Just want that smaller option.

The iTaste 3.0 has my unequivocal endorsement. Not perfect, but not far off either. Small form factor, vv/vw, Ohms reader, digital display, +/- buttons, battery life indicator, ego and 510 threading, usb/micro connection. Hard to beat and smaller than the standard twist/spinner. I have three of them, and they've completely replaced my other stick batts. At 800 mAh, you may need two of them, but its a full APV and only an inch longer than an ego 650. IVape.com with code "itastevv" will give you $15 off totaling $34.95 each with charger. My :2c:. Power up and Vape On!

Awesome to know. For me , the main factor in my next purchase of a VV was size, for going out and on the go. My 1000mah ego C Twist is awesome hits beautiful. But is bulky and hard to fit in the pocket when paired with a Vivi Nova 3ml tank. So my main concern is to get the smallest VV 650 MAH batt I can find.

I have four EVODs and haven't had a gurgling or leaking problem with any of them. But then, I rarely let them get even close to empty before washing and refilling. Pairing them with a 650 makes for a very on-the-go friendly system. For a little more capacity, look at the Kanger MT3S tanks. The coils for these and EVODs are identical, so you don't have to keep up with several different types of coils.

Great information, I have been looking at the Evods now, nice and affordable. What do you think about pairing the 650 with the Kanger Pro Tank?

The protank would look a little funny on the 650 battery. The Evod is pretty much the same device though. The heads are just a bit different and I get the same performance from both. FYI if you have a gurgle with a bottom feeder, like the evod or protank, hold it upside down (drip tip pointed to floor) and sort of flick it with your wrist. Like shaking down an old fashioned thermometer. This will send the gurgle causing juice right out the end. Oh, do it outside so you don't get it on the carpet lol.
