Hello everyone, I've been lurking here for about a week,been a smoker for 5years and just got my first e-cig in today, Loving it so far and I think I made a pretty good choice to get my feet wet based on what I read. Thanks everyone for being so informative on this forum.

Thanks guys for the welcome, For my first PV I ordered the Volt basic and I also ordered an extra 78mm manual battery. And then some juices from another site, Didn't want to spend too much money not knowing if it would work for me or not. But if it does I can see the possibilities for upgrades being endless. Don't even know where to start.

Well, you've taken the right route -- you got something to try. That's the most important thing. I think it will surprise you though. The Volt is probably the best slim kit going right now so you picked a great starting point.

Ok,I'm now on my third day with my pv, Last day I had an analog was yesterday, It's going better than I thought so far, I have 2 batteries and only charged each battery once,And still on my first carto.I'm not sure if I'm not vaping as much as other people on here or if I just got really lucky with my batts. Another observation that I made is that I need to get blank cartos because it's impossible to sample other flavors when there's menthol in the carto. But still definitely beats the taste of an analog and going on 25hrs without an analog that hasn't happened for me in a very long time.
