Hello there my name is Tim.

I currently smoke cigarettes,my pipes and the occasional cigar...Well let me explain.

While i do not currently own a PV but i have been looking into them for sometime now and the reason why i haven't pulled the trigger and bought one is because well...i enjoy smoking as is.

But i unfortunately had to move out of my old house (where i could smoke as i please) into a apartment with a ex-smoker roommate and aslong as i keep it out of the house she doesn't mind but i really do find myself missing smoking indoors.

I miss not having to shiver in 10 degree weather 5 with wind chill. (Massachusettes winters suck:mad:), I miss being able to smoke while playing games on the computer. (Big nerd here ) , I miss being able to smoke in bed , and yes although strange i miss smoking on the toilet.

While i have no plans to quit smoking i am looking into vaping so i can enjoy myself for once instead of having to sacrifice confort for smoking.

Although i have used a Electronic cigarette recently, as a friend of mine bought a Green Smoke Rechargeable with some cartomizers and i gave it a shot a few times most recently inside a local burger king :2cool:.

As for what im purchasing im looking into the Tornado tank E - Nic from Totally Wicked since in DON'T want anything that looks like a real cigarette.

Most people who are addicted to analogs don't want to give them up. Analog ciggies are associated with being stress relief, relaxation, a break and all other kinds of good things because the drug makes your brain feel that way. vaping is just cleaner, healthier, tastier and doesn't smell like trash.

IMHO take a look at some of the mods in the "Pictures of your Set Up" thread and consider getting something with a 510 threaded connection and removable, rechargable batteries. This will save you $$ in the long run vs. semi disposables and is worth the investment.

Try vaping.. you'll find out soon enough if it's for you. Who knows, you may start realizing that the analogs aren't all that they are cracked up to be. 25 year 1+ ppd smoker here.. never thought I'd quit. So glad that I did :) Good Luck and Welcome to the ECF!

fordun - Welcome to the ECF. I didn't really expect to stop smoking when I started vaping (50 yrs at 1.5 Packs a day) - but it just happened when I discovered that I liked the vapor more than the smoke. It's been a couple of months since I had a cig and I really don't think about them at all.

Rogue - Super Members (300 posts), Supporting Members, and ECF veterans may start threads in the Classifieds, all other members may reply. (fairly recent change).
