Thirty plus year smoker, a little over a pad. Had my last cigarette Jan. 20, 2014. I have been reading the forum for awhile now and wanted to say thanks to everybody for all the useful information.
I started off with a Halo Triton. Currently vaping a VTR topped with a kayfun lite+ v2. I have a preorder for Hana mods dna30 and another KFL+ on the way. Who knew not smoking and reading forums could get so expensive?

Thanks. Right now I'm spending more on vaping than I did on smoking but I see that slowing down soon. I keep telling myself that anyway.

It depends if you like all the mods or if you find one that is the ONE. i tried a lot of mods in my first year. Now i am saving money because i found what i am satisfied with. We are all different and you may be a collector as for me i am a minimalist.

Whatever you do be happy and keep on vaping :)

It hasn't been the mods with me yet, it has been tanks. The VTR replaced the Triton. I didn't like the iclear30s that came with the VTR so I picked up a couple aerotank. Read about the ibtanked with cartos and added those. Wanted to try rbas so picked up a couple rsst pyrex. Now it's kfl and r91%. I think that I am almost there.
Maybe.

Between me and my wife we could buy a new Provari and 60ml of juice every month and still spend less than we did smoking.

Maybe.

Now you need a mech mod where the KFL and R91 can really shine.

Welcome. Like you, I put down the nasties in Jan. I have play with a few 'toys', but am pretty well settled. I calculated my wives' and mine and happily will be breaking even in a week or so. Not counting the $49 I spent on liquids today at a B&M.

I'm still buying my eliquids in sample sizes. I have found some good ones and looking for more. The only large bottle that I have picked up is Halo Tribeca. I always have a tank of that with me.

I feel ya there, I have the mini only right now, waiting to get my pre-order on the Orange full size from ss vape

I would be happy with the mini. It would make the wait easier. My pre-order is from ss vape as well. Feb. 15th. When did you order yours.

I tend to rationalize my vape spending by computing my would-be spendings on cigs had I not started vaping.

Funny. I do the exact same thing.
Right now still in the red since the vape spending is more than I would have spent on cigarettes but believe once I have a few devices, and supplies for making my own juice in order it's only a matter of time before the would be cost of smoking outweighs what I spent on vape gear.
Bonus is I will be able to smell, taste, and breathe better which I cannot realistically put a price on. :)
More kisses from the wife because I don't smell/taste like an ashtray is HUGE too.

The mini is nice but once I get the full size I'm selling it. Battery life is dismal at 30w. I ordered mine originally on February 7th, but ran into a financial pickle and had to cancel and reorder February 28th. Hopefully I get it before summer!
