Got my Aga-T2's in the mail yesterday, and was apprehensive, but excited to try my hand at a Genesis style RBA. Watched a TON of video, and read many threads on here before I got the nerve to try making a wick and a coil. Got a perfect wick, and a perfect coil (4wraps) the first time out, fixed the hot spots and dialed in a sweet 2.5 ohm coil which I'm sending 4.3V on the Provari, and some of my favorite 50/50 Wintergeen juice with addsd flavor shots to taste.

All I can say Folks is......OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!

I'm taking in the coolest, most flavorful hits of vape that I've ever experienced! And exhaling some mammoth plumes of thick, dense, white vapor, the likes of which I never thought possible with vaping! I still love my cart tanks, but holy crap! This is AMAZING in every way conceivable!!!

I also converted someone to vaping today, hooking my neighbor up with a chrome VAMO, an IBTanked clear tank, Smoktech carto and some Mt. Baker watermelon in 24mg. All at less than my cost because we're tight. He tried about a dozen flavors before he settled on the melon, and he's been all afternoon without a cigarette. Now, both he and I need to order more batteries and he ordered a charger today too.

What an absolutely great day for my vaping hobby! This Genny is blowing my head off!!!

Special thanks to JunkyRock13 for the great tutorial on wicks and coil!! Not sure if he's on here of not but great lesson!! I'm hooked now!!

Just got my aga-t+ about 3 days ago and it's soooo awesome! Great vapor production, great flavor, and the nic hit's so full... I felt dizzy after a few vapes of butterscotch 12mg!

Only problem is when it's not wicking properly, you'd get a metallic burnt taste. And most times after putting the PV down for the night, when I use it again in the morning it won't work properly: I'd get hotspots, poor wicking, etc. so I'd have to re-coil it.

I've gone back to my vivi nova even though the flavor and nic hit's not that good; at least the performance is constant.

I've been using my AGA T2 for some 3 weeks. My first coil was 1.5 ohm. It was too warm for me so I made another, this time 2.5 ohm. With both coils I was getting the same plumes of vapor, but I'm still not happy with the flavor compared to my cartotanks. I've been using the same wick all along, and just received some pre-made SS wicks that I'm probably gonna give a shot to this weekend.

Glad to hear your first experience with the AGA was a roaring success, Scoop. I might need to get some pointers from you some time.

You got it Baditude! I am flat out blown away, and I totally understand all the hype about these things! Building my second one tonight, now I have to pick which flavor I want to supercharge with this thing...

yea it may take a bit of fiddling with the setup of the wick to hit it, BAD - i know i wasnt overly impressed with my first wick and coil, and thought those guys in the RBA section are tripping if they think this is all that. kept playing and trying a few different things and suddenly about the middle of a tank one day the flavor went "POP" and been hooked ever since.

I'm freaking out at the amount of flavor and vapor I'm getting off this thing!!! I was told that set up correctly these are a great alternative to the high end Gennies..... If this is Genesis vaping on a budget, I'm afraid to see what a high dollar unit will do. This is hitting absolutely insane!!!!

BTW .... Just grabbed a satin silver blem with a blue LED from Provape's site! The VAMO I hooked my neighbor up with today was my back-up..... So......I just HAD to get another ProV to keep mine company! Still waiti g on the green LED's and might have to do some creative financing to get one if they become a available anytime in the next coupke of weeks..... But, I just couldn't wait!!!!!

and this is the other side effect of genesis atty's - you get nic high and go vape crazy lol (or so im told i wouldnt know from eperience :p )

After reading your posts I got out my AGA-T+ and tried it again but this time I unrolled the mesh and rolled it again with a toothpick in the middle since I was thinking a straw-like wick would be a better media for the juice to flow. So now there's a space in the middle of the wick.

It's still working well as of this writing... hope I don't get a burned metallic taste this time!

Yepper, one of the major disadvantages of a Stainless Steel wick is that a dry hit is an absolutely HORRIBLE experience! A lot has to do with technique, but over time, you will get better at building them.

RBAs are not as much trouble to set up as many people think, as long as you use the right method.
The best method I've seen to make a fool-proof coil & wick is the Petar K, or drillbit method. There are a lot of videos on Youtube showing how it's done., here's just one:
FunkyVapes - The Perfect Genesis Coil, Every Time! - - YouTube

Making a Stainless Steel Wick the right way (Todd):
Making a Stainless Steel wick - YouTube

Using these methods, you can build a flawless coil/SS wick EVERY TIME with minimal trouble. Give it a try, the results are well worth it.

BTW.. another really good RBA I recommend to folks who want to try one out without investing a lot of money to see what it's all about are these mini DID clones. For $17 you get everything you need to give it a try, and they work like a champ:

(I have no affiliation with FrE-Cigs, I just spend WAY-too much money there :) )

Have fun..
