I've been using a cheap gas station ego for the past few weeks and just finally bit the bullet and ordered myself my first mechanical mod. I ordered a nemesis mod, two 18350 battery's, a charger, and the 3D dripper (Dimi's Dream Dripper). So my question is - Is this a good set up for a first time rda? I wasn't sure what to order and liked the concept of the auto dripper. Do you think this set up will work or should i order up sumthin else to go with it?

Thank you for your time and advice. Anything is appreciated.

hate to say it but you don't want those batteries. with a mech and a dripper i would only use IMR batteries. sony vct series are best and safest . that is the one place i would not buy cheap or anything with the word FIRE in the name. check the blogs on battery safety before proceeding. best of luck.

if you have the option i would leave out the batteries. i just bought sony vct5's here https://www.illuminationsupply.com/ and am very happy. if you buy a pair they even send you the little plastic case for them. i would also get a good charger for them like this http://www.nitecore.com/productDetail.aspx?id=52 i use the 4 bay model and am very pleased so far. again this is one area you don't want to skimp on. of course doing your own builds you will need a way to check for shorts and resistance. i use one of these Cartomizer and Atomizer Ohm Meter then watch about a million youtube video's on rebuilding and you should be good to go. good luck.

Thank you, I'll check out that site for the batteries. The Nitecore I2 is the charger i already have on order. I have a Fluke meter out in the tool box ill have to use for now, maybe later I'll get one of them fancy ohm meters you can just screw the atomizer on to.

I was planing on playing around with builds in the 1 - 2 ohm range, and see how well they work.
