Came with no instructions ....

So I guess it will need to be charged up first, or do companies usually send the batteries already charged?

I've seen mention here and there about using a glass pan or dish when charging, and I'm not sure why that would be recommended? Also, if it's a good thing to do, how the heck do I get battery and charger and (wall socket, USB port on computer) into a glass pan? Obviously missing something here.

Dontcha just luuuuuuuuuv noobs??:)

A lot of them come with a charge. A simple way of knowing is to just hook it up, if it blinks green then its good to go. If its red then let it charge. I have no idea, or have ever heard anything about a glass pan and would not see why you would ever need it. If its charged, load up the clearomizer with an ejuice, screw it on and press the button and inhale. You're all set to go.

Like MaxS89 said, usually they come with at least some charged, but you can hook it up to the charger and see, if the battery blinks and the light on the charger stays green it's fully charged. As for charging your battery in a pan, do it if you're worried about the battery having a catastrophic failure and exploding/catching on fire. The pan won't prevent this, it will just minimize the damage if it happens, and you just place the battery itself in the pan while it's charging.

The following article has a video tutorial for the Vision Spinner, an ego battery very similar to the Joytech Twist. Watch the video to understand the workings of your Twist. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3706-4-good-starters-setup-beginning-vapor.html

You might also find this article to be helpful. It's a picture dictionary of the more common juice delivery devices and include videos on how to use them. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3230-1-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

Also keep in mind that you may have to click the button 5x to turn it on (5x more to turn it off). I'm sure it came with some charge to it so what are you waiting for? VAPE!
