So my diy kit came in the mail today, only took 2 days to get here. So i immediately jump in on the recipes that I saved from browsing on the forum. So i made 2 batch's of 3ML each, strawberries and cream and vananaberry. Both mixes came out tasting great, I was surprised it came out great and wasn't hard to make these simple recipes. I can't wait to find some more online and try them out and wait for my other flavors to arrive. I don't know why I didn't try this much sooner, since it will cut down the cost of buying juice at the vape shop down the street. :)

Congrats on your first batch of DIY. If you haven't already downloaded a juice calculator, you can download the one I use here for free:
eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator
If you chose to do so, it also has recipes built in. Just open it, click on file, then open.

There is also a section here that is for recipes. You will find lots that you like there:
E-Liquid Recipes

Steve

If they have a alcohol smell, take off the caps and let them air out for 24 hrs., also keep them in a cool dark place. That should help.

Good Luck in the Laboratory!!!:toast:

I have another question. Some juices i have made like a recent one i just did smells like alcohol/nail polish but other flavors i have made do not.... Does someone know why this is? Should I just let it air out and the smell with go away after a few days?

I used flavors from diy flavor shack and TFA and I think Wizard labs for this particular batch. Should I just stick to one brand when making a batch so they are all from the same company and made the same way?

No need to do that. Within the same company, different flavors use different carriers. I'll use TFA as an example. Some of their flavors use PG, some Alcohol, etc. Just depends on the flavor.

Cheers,
Steve

Hey everyone again!

Well the DIY thing has been going good thanks to all the great advise from everyone here. Now I want to start adding some nic. I vape 6% when i buy store bought juice. I noticed that when i looked around to getting some nice that there are many percentages....Which one should I get. I was looking at wizard labs..... I need some help with finally adding mic to my juices.

good job! it took me much, much longer to find/make any vapable creations. my first few dozen attempts failed. i finally settled on single-flavor mixes. i find it tough to DIY as its nearly impossible for me to tell if a particular flavoring was mixed at the wrong percentage, or if the flavoring just isnt for me, even if it was mixed at the correct flavoring %.

even mixes that i *thought* i liked ended up being to harsh or too smooth, or the flavor quickly became stale/morphed into something that just plain didnt taste right.
