First time flashlight DIY shortcuts?

So I'm planning out my first Diy flashlight mod. I think I will prolly get the box mod kit from MadVapes and use the parts with my HomeDepot cheapo flashlight and 18xxx battery.

Can anyone point me to some good flashlight mod tutorial-ish threads, for reference?

I'm not sure if the Home Depot flashlights have a clicky bottom switch. If they are you can modify them into a momentary switch.
