and right in the middle selecting what i wanted the store closed. why would it do that? first time ordering with them

Probably because of it now being Thanksgiving Day. Maybe they had to do computer maintenance. Not sure why. Could be any number of reasons.

Our customers satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us we would never intentionally be rude to our customers. Unfortunately with our sale we are filling our order capacity VERY quickly and as a small company we can only process so many orders in a day. Due to this issue we tried to give ample warning that we would be closing once we filled the order quota unfortunately we are not able to see who is in the process of checking out when we do close the site. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I know it's frustrating but your placing your first order at a great time and the worst. It's great cuz they're having a Thanksgiving sale but the worst time cuz all of us Alien junkies are also placing big orders for the sale. So it's first come, first serve and the store is literally only staying open right now for like 20 mins cuz they're filling orders quickly.
I had my cart full yesterday and went to press the checkout button and POOF, it was gone, store closed. Sale runs through Dec 6th so keep trying. I got my order in today and I'm one happy camper.
I freak out when I run out of GJ..I only have 1/4 tank left.
