Hi folks! I'm a regular on the Nicoticket sub-forum where many of you also frequent. I just got my first REOS today and I'm over the moon with it! There's a reason they call it the Nicoticket approved delivery device and I've just found out why.

There's definitely a learning curve to this as I'm not sure how often to squonk and occasionally get a dry hit. Any advice for a first time user is welcome. My current coil build is sitting pretty on 28 kanthal @ 1.4 ohms.

Here's Iris:

And here's my first coil build (I pushed the coil down closer to the base per a friend's recommendation and it's made a difference in flavor.):

I have Nicoticket's Absolute Creme Brulee for her maiden vape and it's fabulous! Happy to be joining the REOS family. :) :vapor:

Welcome welcome the purple pops real nice

Thanks for the welcome! It was a toss-up between this one and the red one, both are beauts.

It won't take long, you get it and Welcome!

I lived in OB long time ago....

Thanks and OB is still as eclectic as ever. :)

Yay! Great color choice I love it! If it were me, I'd move the coil as close to the rim as possible. That's where the flavor really hits! Did anyone explain about lining up the airholes on the rm2?

Hello, congrats on the new Reo and welcome to Reoville.

Move your coil out away from the posts and closer to the air hole, Pull the drip tip and watch when you squonk, you want the juice to rise and coat the coil and then drain back into the bottle. On a full bottle I find about 3 seconds to be good.

Put some wick in the coil!

Wick in coil - Check.

Move (wicked) coil closer to the rim - Check. Already knew about the airholes from my other mod so that's a check too.

Thanks for the welcome and the advice. I definitely want to avoid those burned hits, they're throat killers and taste awful.

If you are using cotton then use less than you initially think. It ought to wick very fast to avoid dry hits.

Raising or lowering the coil has no effect on dry hits; in relation to the airhole, it adjusts only the throat hit and flavour. Dry hits are always caused by bad wicking and in new users that's typically by overstuffing the coil with cotton.

Basically it's for when you cannot see or when using a standard carto or atty. You suck in through the drip tip while squonking (without pressing the fire button). When you hear and feel a slight gurgle stop sucking and squonking( see I always get in trouble).

with an RBA turn the air hole so it down during the blind squonk and the turn it back up to fire and hit.
