I took hubby for an extended visit with an Otologist (hearing specialist) today for testing and info on hearing aids. Bless him, he knew we were going to be there a while, so before we started all the tests, he asked me if I needed to get my pv out of the car. The Otologist asked me about it, and said his wife used a e-cig and that I could vape all I wanted while I was in there. I thanked him but assured him I didn't think I would need to. After about an hour though, I said I was going to vape a little if he didn't mind and he said "go ahead". It was uncomfortable for me! I tried to keep it light, I felt like hiding my pv and like I should be shunned to a corner somewhere. What a strange experience. What have the ANTZ done to us when we smoked!? I started analogs back in the 80's and used to openly smoke in public before it was banned everywhere. I had forgotten what that freedom felt like! The Otologist even used my vaping to test the hearing aids on my husband...and asked if he could hear me using the pv, since it is part of our home environment! I was so grateful to him, but hope I can overcome the stigma of "smoking" in public!
