So I been smoking on disposables for the last couple weeks or so. I am ready to buy a more permanent solution. I am not going to mix my own liquid yet (maybe in the future) and I will never wind my own coils. I want a mid-range probably a Ego or K2. I am looking to spend $50 to get started, I really don't want to have to spend more money than that right away. However I want to get something that I might be able to upgrade at a later date. I am about a pack a day smoker and my wife is a little less maybe a pack a day smoker. I'd like to get 2 units for that price if possible and maybe some juices, I know that I'm not going to get a ton for that cost but at least maybe a week supply? Not sure, any input and links would be helpful. Just when I think I'm going to buy something I see another deal about something similar. Can anyone direct me a little better?

I am pretty tech savy and can probably put something together if I have to.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!!!

If it help I am also a pack a day smoker (Was a pack a day). At that, you will probably spend at least $150 a month on smokes depending on brand. With that said, you should probably go for a little better setup for a little more money and you will still be under the $150 mark for the first month and at about 80% less than cigarettes every month after that.

Ego V2 Mega 1200 batteries you can find for about 35 bucks a piece. A decent Vision Vivi nova 3.5 ml tank (that should last you all day and in my opinion is the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes) should be about 15 bucks. Three bottles of juice (should last you 20 to 30 days) at the vapor room (that's who I buy from) is about 45 to 50 dollars including shipping. That should be all you would need and still right around $100. There are cheaper batteries but the V2 mega is a "passthrough" battery that you can charge while you use it(comes with usb charge cable). and has a LCD screen to show you battery level and voltage so it's real easy.

Good luck

Hi ! I'm fairly new to vaping too . I'm still waiting on my Ego-Twist+vivi nova (which will come tomorrow !! pretty excited ) from what i gathered from ghost reading this forum is that its a decent set up for a newbie? and theres a lot of link in this forum for juices. I've tried the ego twist from a friend of mines and its pretty good, but then again before the ego twist i used Blu :(. Good luck and as the saying goes... Happy Vaping !
