Well last monday my First e-cigs showed up in the mail! My ultimate ultimatum kit from V4L and a joy 510 in copper color from Healthcabin. I've been very happy with both of them and havent touched a analog since I opened my mail!
I'm lovin the kr8, I get amazing throat hit and vapor with most cartomizers. I got all the tobacco flavors and a few packs of blanks. All the flavors are great, but being canadian I find the parliment tastes like burnt horse crap! and you can guess what I think the Camel tastes like! 555 definately the best. for some reason I dont seem to get much vapor out of the virginia carts but they do have great flavor and TH anyway. My passthrough was not functional so I didn't get to try one until today when another order showed up, so far its amazing, produces more vapor than my 510 does! I also ordered some manual batts in stainless and they've rapidly become my favorites. I've had excellent luck with the lifetime of the cartomizers, I've been using the same two carts for 5 days and have refilled them at least 7 times each, finally put them aside today because they were starting to taste like old socks. Autopsied both of them and had no signs of scorching, they were still producing lots of vapor. Seems if you keep them wet they wont burn.
My Joye 510 is great at producing monstrous clouds of vapor, especially with the tea bag mod and some VG from the American e-liquid store. But I find the flavors seem to be washed out, and the throat hit almost non-existant. I like using it when I'm in the house but it requires too much work to keep the carts full when working outside. The batteries also dont seem to last as long for me, they are smaller and I'm sure the atomizer is more powerful so I'm not surprised by that. My favorite part of the 510 is that it can be vaped longer than the kr8 before it gets hot. I find the kr8 with the bare steel cartomizer gets too hot after 2-3 good long pulls and has to be set aside for a minute or two.
So far my favorite unit has definately been the Vapor King from V4L, I'm a rancher and a blacksmith so the kr8 is a convenient and low maintenance device, I can take a batt and 1 cart with me in the field and they last me most of the day, the auto batts fit perfectly in the pencil holder on my leather apron. I just have to fight the urge to throw my cig into the forge when I get my hands full like I'm used to doing with my analogs!
