I am sitting here having a cup of coffee and vaping and a thought hits me...

I didn't smoke yesterday!

Since I started vaping I have still been having one or two analogs a day. Yesterday I didn't have one at all. The best part is, I didn't even realize it until this morning. It appears that vaping was enough to satisfy me completely.

This makes me very happy. :D

I am also new to vaping. I don't miss the analogs at all....but still purchase them, and use them ONLY when I am in a Casino, because I am afraid that I might loose my battery. I am about to try it, because I enjoy the Vaping far more than the analog. This has really surprised me. I have told my Doctor, and my Doctor asked me to bring it in....she is now referring her patients......So pleased with this alternative.

Same thing happened to me. When I ordered my Joye I only had plans to cut down on smoking analogs. Not to quit completely. But after I got it, and the pack of smokes I had ran out, I just didn't buy another one. Vaping was and still is enough for me. I've even messed around with my friends and put their analogs in my mouth, lit them, then passed them back to them without inhaling. lol

I ran out the day before yesterday. On my way home I hit my blinker to pull into a service station and pick up a pack. Then I thought "Nah, I can vape until I get home and pick up a pack there since they are cheaper."

A month ago the thought of making a 90 mile drive without a cigarette would have caused a panic attack.

That's been exactly my experience as well.
I went around telling everyone "don't think this means I'm trying to quit." I didn't want to set up any unrealistic expectations (for me or my family/friends).

I'm still shocked that after so many times I've TRIED to quit, I now seem to have quit without even really trying.

It's crazy isn't it! I almost think it's the initial mindset that helps you quit easier. I think the people that order their e-cigs with the hopes of quitting right away are setting themselves up for the anxiety of quitting. We, on the other hand. Just kind of did it without any real thought of it.

Congrats man!!!! That is awesome!!!!

I have not touched an analog in over a year and have no desire whatsoever....

Keep it up and congrats!

Kris

Thanks! I hope I can make it as long as you have.

Since yesterday was my first day without an analog I decided to finally add a banner to my sig. :D
