Relax. Stop bumping your own post just because nobody answers you in a couple of hours on a weekend. Wait at least a day. Someone in the know will come along.

Without knowledge, I'm gonna just take a guess and tell you "no way". A Kick takes up 15 or 16 mm. I don't think you'll get that by switching to a hybrid adaptapatorizer.

Relax yourself; I don't think bumping a thread every few hrs in a fast moving forum is unreasonable..

That said; a kick takes up 17mm iirc, and who knows how much slack is taken up by the pins, spring (which will be replaced by magnets), etc.

i walked into this semi informed, but I'd like the opinions of guys who've done something similar, or at least tried. In my mind it seems possible; with a bit of filing, and tweaking of things. I'm going to guess that you gain maybe 5-7mm by running in hybrid mode, maybe.

An artisan crown regulator may be a better fit for you, it only takes up 8mm. I don't know for sure if it'll work as you want it to, but it's more likely than a kick. Maybe take some measurements of your parts, figure out what you have to work with, then you can decide what you need.
And....... Take a coffee break, give us a little time. No one is paid to answer you questions on this forum.

Ok, so I've decided to buy an HCigar Caravela clone. Now my question to you guys is; will removing the top cap, and running a hybrid adaptor on my rda/rba free up enough room to fit a kick 2, with an 18650 battery?

thanks in advance guys:vapor:

No.
It won't.

But why would you want to?
Kick defeats the benefit of a mechanical

Mechs shine outside the limits of a kick.

Why not buy a regulated device?

Thanks for the response, I'll look into the Artisan Crown Regulator :)

I'm not hurt, I just found that guys response to be a bit obnoxious, and rude. Again, thanks for your help.

No.
It won't.

I own regulated devices already, and have no interest in doing deep sub ohming. Quite frankly I enjoy vaping without the worry of serious voltage drop, and decreased performance that comes with it. Based on the reviews I've seen, the kick 2 WILL happily go down to .5 ohms; which is likely lower than I'll take it, but who knows.

Form factor is the only reason IMO.
However having to step down a battery size or use an absurdly long mod just isnt worth it to me.

Long live regulated high power box mods.

You nailed it sir; it's an aesthetic thing for me. After all, it is just a battery tube with a switch. That said, I'm not fond of the appearance of box mods, unfortunately. What I'm looking to assemble here, is an attractive mod, to fire down to maybe 1 ohm, and look elegant doing so. That's all.

I hate the look of kick rings, and extension tubes though. Perhaps I'll have a friend machine a longer tube for me; though I'd rather modify a clone.

I've actually changed course with my build plans.

I'm commissioning a custom length brass tube by Fakir.

Home | Fakirs Mods & Atomizers

He just confirmed that he'd be happy to make a custom tube for me

I'm going to use this top cap/switch assembly from Rampage Vapor, in polished stainless.

Special MOD :: 22LE :: 22LE Dal Polished -

When all is said, and done I'll have a gorgeous, unique piece to use for daily fill up, and go duties! I'm friggin excited!

I'll also admit I usually use a kick on my hammer. However, it really depends on my mood.

quick and dirty answer, it wont fit. However, cant you screw together the 350 and 500 tubes to give enough room? 65+18 = 83mm, and 35+50 = 85. I'm sure you can adjust to take up the last 2mm. My 2 cents on that.

And to the haters on using a kick with a mech, the day Kato makes a VV/VW mod exactly like the hammer is the day I throw away my kick ^^

EDIT: And BK, On a "Fast Paced Forum" expect a reply within 12-24 hours. Bumping your topic repeatedly within a short period is frowned upon. Not really gainst any rules to my knowledge, but against etiquette. Patience is a Virtue.
