Five Pawns E-Liquid

Am I the only one who gets NO throat hit from their 12mg juices ?!
Their Sample pack was my second E-liq order I tried, Compared to the first one which was Halo tobacco sample pack(18mg), They totally felt different. Kinda disappointed, my expectations were high when I saw their price!

I really like Gambit, it is probably my fav right now. Delicious Apple
Pie, vanilla ice cream, whip cream
Pie crust and cinn. Found it at a local shop and was definitely worth it. I will keep it on hand no doubt. Not normally my type vape but I think it's outstanding. Mine's 12mg-50/50 mix. It is pricey and once you try it you'll know why.

I recently went to a B&M that had the whole range of Five Pawns flavors available for sampling in, carto-tanks. I have got to say, I'm glad I had that opportunity. Otherwise, I might have wasted some money on them because of the hype I've seen. I swear, put a high enough price on something, and people will believe it's made of gold. Suffice it to say, I was not remotely impressed.

Generally speaking, I agree that Five Pawns liquids have a slightly lighter throat hit than Halo liquids. Probably due to different PG/VG ratios.

Having said that I think you are experiencing the difference that nicotine content has on throat hit. In most cases you will get less throat hit from 12mg than you will from 18mg regardless of the vendor.

To OP - you can't compare an 18mg liquid to a 12mg liquid. That's like comparing a Marlboro Red throat hit to a Marlboro Light throat hit. They're different!

Of course 12mg is lighter than 18mg. The nicotine level dictates most of the throat hit in a liquid.

The throat hit might not be there as your'e used to. Like jwag said, they make their juices in 50/50 pg/vg blend so the throat will be somewhat muted. Besides that Five Pawns has some great tasting juice that I've liked such as their Gambit and Absolute Pin. Absolute Pin is an interesting flavor combination of Irish Cream, Caramel, Cinnamon, and Absinthe. It's definitely out of the ordinary, and I would recommend it if you're bored with generic flavored juices.

I used the Absolute Pin 12mg and the flavor was great. Smooth throat hit. But I experienced something from it that hopefully someone can expand on... Using a ProTank I vaped about half way through the tank and was enjoying smooth throught hits;which I prefere, but later that night I was choking over the amount of nicotine sting I got from it-nothing near as smooth as earlier in the day. Is there a reason for this to happen? I made no adjustments to my device at all. It just suddenly became overpowering?!

Today I got my Twisted Java(12mg) from Halo, although it's not same as Bowden's Mate from FP, tastes similar with more throat hit ! Not sure what's Halo's PG/VG , but could be the reason ! Still not gonna waste my money on FP. Don't get me wrong, they taste good, but throat hit is like non !!!

could be the coil got gunked up...happened to me with Amaretto flavor....going nice all day....then it was sitting for a bit and the next hit I took made my eyes water....changed coil...all was good again
