Today I stopped by a local B&M , part of a small regional chain that I usually don't patronize, to pick up a little gift for a friend. They have carried the 5P line since they opened in my town a year or so ago. I noticed a "sale" sign on their 5P case and asked what was up. He said "we dropped them. When it's gone, it's gone" and I indicated that I probably knew why. Castle Long Reserve was marked at $25. I just looked at it for a minute and he said "offer?" I pulled out a 20 and we shook hands. I like their liquids on occasion but haven't reordered since all the hoopla. I Couldn't pass that one up though. I wonder how prevalent this scenario is among their retailers. It's gotta be hurting.
