Thanks, everyone!Just ordered me some Ambroid from Ebay, and, once I get it, will commence fixing my old buddies as they run out of juice. Cool beans. I love them, ya know...
So....has anyone had any luck with the Ambroid? I have 5 tubes that I painted with the stuff all around the bottom...I can still "see" the cracks, but no idea of they sealed...haven't tried putting juice in them yet.
Test by filling with water or PGA etc.
Duhhhh...why didn't I think of that....lol. Thanks!! I have a PhD....but obviously that has nothing to do with common sense.
None whatsoever - I'm with you on that one. In fact, I think it's counter-indicated in most cases. LOL
Progress......had 5 tubes, filled them with water last night. This morning, 3 still had the water in them. Will try "painting" the other two one more time before I give up on them....and try some juice in the 3 today.
Sounds promising...
Question: when it's done curing and all, what does it look like? I mean, is it rough where you painted it, does it show?
