So yesterday my Vamu went dead,,, First i tought i blew the atom in my VIVI nova, so i put different tank on it, same thing reading 0.0 ohms , then i tried my new bottom coil tip ( not sure the name) it read the same. So either i have the worst luck in the world and all three blew in the same moment or it was the VAMU, After doing some research and ttest i figured the positive pole is grounding out inside the female tip on the mod. So i pulled it out rewrapped the wire in heatwrap and am going to put a nitrile O ring over the base, I am finishing up today. Ill let you know if it works and post pics later.

May have been able to just replace the o ring. I've fixed at least one that way. It is a known issue that the original o ring does fail

Ok, so i pulled out the positive pole out of the drip well, Came out about 3/4" attached to a white wire. Connection was fine with the wire so i did not cut and resoder (sp?) Decided against re wrapping it. Put 2 - 3mm x 1mm nitrile o-rings on it. Working perfectly now.
