Mine finally showed up today! Took nearly a month, but its here. Gonna do some crazy building tonight and have a good time with it. Got a 1 foot by 1 foot section of 400 mesh lined up, planning on just doing mesh feeders and japanese cotton in the coil or rayon. leaning towards japanese because I don't want the sag factor of rayon

Couldn't get it to wick with 400 mesh. Used 50 mesh, which is wicking, but way too much. That 50 mesh is a pain to shape too lol. I'm gonna try doing a 400 mesh sleeve inside the 50 mesh. My juice is pretty thick so it needs to move, but obviously not flood. Good airflow with the screw removed, too tight for my taste with any of the screws

Both my FEV's are wicking nicely with 400 mesh straws. My juice is fairly thick- 90% VG. Taste was very muted until I lowered resistance to 0.7-1.0 ohms. If you are having problems wicking, I suggest you roll the mesh straws until they slide freely in their holes. There has to be room for air bubbles to go up the straw.

My 350 mesh is just like a straw. Only about 15mm wide. Enough for about 2 wraps or so. Wide open and slides too.. 90-100vg. I tried a variety of methods and this works best. The only time you may flood is if a straw falls out or isn't touching the wick and is jostled heavily.

I run air wide open too at 25w.

If the 400 isn't working, just use less. or can try wrapping it around something small (like a paperclip, etc), so that it stays more straw-like in the center

Still damn satisfied with FEV.
Had a thing with this new "subtanks", but the flavour isn't there and the heads cost a lot.
Just ordered a original Dripcap from Arthur and a spare from Focalecig with some clear tanks.
SHOULD tweak my feeders, not keeping up in chainvaping with 70+ VGs, but too lazy (If you can vape it, DON'T mess with it!).
Maybe a larger hole, currently wrapped aroun 1.2 mm screwdriver from 325.

I got a FEV3 coming. Sedge finally convinced me I needed to get one. Definitely exited to finally get my hands on one, and see why the people who have them, love them so much.

Didn't get the dripper top (I just don't drip anymore at all), got the tank extension, long chimney, o-rings, short airduct (short tank mode on this would be pretty awesome), and poly tank. I'll be set.
