I should tell you all a funny story. When I got up this morning the vs was almost empty. No sign of leaking, but I'm sure it must all be in the exaporation chamber. And I'm thinking, ugh, it was that last mesh straw, I just know it! It hadn't leaked at all. I just vaped it all up before I went to bed [emoji23]
Haha, you totally feel like it would leak if you left it overnight or a top vaping it, but it doesn't leak into the chamber at all when it's sitting...MAGICCC

Well, I thought it did because it was almost empty. I was thinking my last mesh straw wasn't up to par and it all went in there. But, nope. I always turn off the lights when the birds go to bed, and I vape for awhile, then I go to bed. I vaped a lot more of it than I had realized.

I wonder if it fits the authentic, too. It probably does. I've bought quite a few things from FT that work fine on my authentics.

I'm going to email Doris first though to ask if they are getting those for the vs as well. I have a $7 FC coupon I need to use before the end of the month, but have to spend at least $35 to use it. Not sure what else I want, but I could probably come up with something.

Has anybody tried plugging the 2 holes with mesh and just sucking the mouthpiece with the airhole blocked to prime the coil instead of wicking the holes?

ECF member jpcwon was kind enough to send me some mesh. Thanks John! I forget what the weave is.

Anyway, I rebuilt using the mesh yesterday and I am loving it. I used a 7mm X 45mm piece and wrapped it around a 1.2mm syringe needle. It wicks splendidly and of course, it's better than the cotton cord. I noticed I am now going through juice a bit faster but that's fine by me. So now, I've got feeder wicks for months. Yay!

Did I say how much I love this atty? :D

I have some rather tight mesh wicks with just a tiny hole in the middle (half a mm, approx), and they keep up just fine up to 40W. Blocking seems impossible to me.

Yeah, it is an awesome atty. I'm still kinda perplexed how the Lemo got a 300+ thread, while the FeV is at a measly 45.
Ever since I got my FeV I havent used anything else.

It's very popular in Germany but not here in the states. I understand there's a thread hundreds of pages long in a German forum. Anyone know what forum that is?

Yes, Doris at FC told me the same, the Germans love them and have bought over 1000 of the clones. I bet they buy the most authentics, too.

Same with the Rose I bet. My favorite atty, but I had to dig that thread up when I got my first clone, and I got most of my info from UK forums.

When clones come out, more people discover some attys, and then after trying it, authentic sales probably go up again.

The Lemo is cheap, isn't a clone, and comes in 2 sizes. Its also very versatile. It suits both flavor and cloud chasers. At the moment, with a new build, its my third favorite atty again for flavor. The metal parts are on the thin side, but that does reduce weight, and as long as you don't run it over, its fine :)
